REM Air Conditioning-Tampa

I have used REM over the course of the last year to replace both my upstairs and downstairs HVAC systems (air handler and outside units). Both times were due to the old system shutting down. REM got someone out the same day or next day, fixed the issues to temporarily get the 15 year old systems running, while they got me scheduled for the install of the new systems.

They even applied the service charges for repairing the old system towards the price of the new install. They were not cheap, but you get exactly what you pay for. Chris and the entire install crew were awesome. They showed up on time, were clean, did a great install, and balanced the system to get every room exactly as cold as we wanted (i.e. we wanted the nursery to not freeze the baby out, but wanted extra power the the movie room that tend to get hotter).

After having them change my upstairs system last year, I didn't even bother to call around the second time. Chris came out within 24 hours, got my old system up and running, and had his install crew out the next day to put in the new system. They went above and beyond in every aspect of the install, and I could not recommend them enough. Bottom line - they are lighting quick, extremely good at installs, but are not cheap. Like they say, between good, fast, and cheap, you can only pick two. REM is good and fast.

My wife and I were in the market for a new AC. We did our due diligence and got various quotes. These current times can be difficult but that doesn't mean you should be taken advantage of. We met with Chris from REM to get a quote. He was very thorough, professional and gave us an excellent quote. He advised us to what we needed and didn't try to sell us unnecessary accessories.

On installation day REM's crew was scheduled for 8:30 and showed up at 8:15. They were very professional, efficient and organized. They answered any questions I had and explained the process as they were working. I would highly recommend REM. If you're looking for a new AC give them a call.

This company is a jewel! After getting turned down by two other companies that didn't service the area, I called REM and got excellent service within 24 hours. From the phone call to the actual visit was great. Mr Noel was very knowledgeable and explained things thoroughly. He made us confident in his work and comfortable in our home.

I've have been relying on REM since approximately 2014. They have found issues in my previous homes that were overlooked by other companies and, most importantly, I trust them. Float switch shut off the unit so called REM. Of note, Noel spent about 2+ hours doing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and documenting the issues with the system. It was "no charge" under the maintenance contract and there was no obligation for me for me to use REM for repair or a new unit.

After discussing with Joe (manager) came to the decision to replace the A/C system that couldn't be repaired. Chris came out the same day and gave me an estimate with options. I also needed a new attic ladder, and REM offered to install the attic ladder. Price was reasonable and they did the install the next day. Everyone from scheduler and management to technicians was a personable and consummate professional. Clean up after the job was very thorough. Most highly recommend REM for HVAC services.

REM Air did a total duct replacement. The workers were professional and courteous. They wore masks, took their shoes off, and thoroughly cleaned up after the job. The owner checked in to make sure we were satisfied with the job. The job was done in the estimated time frame and all county inspections were done quickly. There is definitely a better air flow in the house now and we are very satisfied with the results. Highly recommend!

They were recommended to me by family, and I'm so grateful for it! I had a maintenance appointment, and the technician, Bobby, was so informative. He answered all of my questions and even let me watch him work. He clearly explained everything, from how things operated to why he was performing certain tasks. I had an issue with my blower motor constantly running when I used the heat.

The first company I had inspect it couldn't find the issue and simply recommended getting a new unit. But with REM, Bobby quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He was so considerate, he even took off his shoes whenever he came inside without me asking. Simply put, excellent service!

I called REM this morning to send someone out to check our heater because our house would not get warm. I'm so thankful they were able to get someone out the same day but the serviceman that came out "Chris Parks" was just AWESOME. He was professional, respectful, knowledgeable and detailed. REM has been serving and maintaining my air conditioning unit for several years. Always understand when I follow them around and check on what they are doing. They call me to remind me when my checkup is due. Maintenance is the key to keeping a unit longer. I just had them replace my A/C unit and did all of my duct work. The gentlemen were so polite, and their work moved so smoothly, you can tell they were definitely a team. Chris is the best; I have used REM for over 10 years now. I have lived in Tampa for over 20 years and used many A/C companies in the past. REM is by far the best company I have ever used. I called this morning for a urgent problem of a clogged A/C drain leaking into my bathroom. I called and within an hour, they were at my house. Chris was an awesome tech. He knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it promptly.

We accidentally cut a critical wire to our AC during another renovation on the weekend leaving us with no AC or heat. Called 5 companies but no one works on the weekends except for REM. Bobby arrived on Sunday AM and accessed the situation. First thing Monday AM a team of 4 men arrived to tackle the job. Owner Joe walked me thru the process and the price. Even though was expensive they got me out of a jam. Definitely worth it, than you!

REM installed a new Rheem ac system at my home recently and we are happy with the quality of both the product and the installation. Everyone that we interacted with at REM, i.e., those handling the calls/scheduling, providing the assessment/estimate (Chris), and installing the system, was professional, efficient and transparent.

After twenty-two years, it was more than time to replace our two AC units. Knowing that we had reservations about using any of the companies we had dealt with previously for repairs or maintenance, we approached this project with quite a bit of trepidation. Luckily, a relative recommended REM Air Conditioning of Tampa after recently having them install a new AC system in their home.

From the very first phone contact we were impressed with the customer service offered by REM. Every appointment was set easily, confirmed and they always arrived 'on time.' Not only were we given a competitive estimate, but we felt as if we had (finally) gained an understanding of the various unresolved AC issues that we had been experiencing for decades. We recently had our new AC system installed by REM. The system they replaced was installed by them 16 years ago. The installation crew was on time and worked as a team. They answered all my questions and made sure we knew how everything worked. REM has always been there when needed. I highly recommend REM for any AC needs. REM installed our unit and has provided our annual AC maintenance for years on a unit that is pushing 13 years. The technicians are trustworthy and knowledgeable, and the office staff are friendly and helpful with scheduling. Our most recent technician, Cornell, was highly skilled and professional. He gave us helpful recommendations to extend the life of our unit. No technician has ever tried to push unnecessary sales on us. They are a great company all around and treat us like valued customers.

I have my home here in Tampa. I have never had a vendor be more responsive, professional, or more honest then Joe and his team. I was traveling when my air handler started to leak. Immediately they sent a tech to fix it. It needed a replacement. The team there removed it and replaced it. My floors were covered while they worked. I've been a customer of REM A/C company since 2010 and they're always professional and fair. Still doing business with them as of today.

This company is the most expensive in the area of Tampa. I called them because my usual company was busy at that time. and for a job that I only paid 155 dollars for in the past they charged me with $415. and if I don't want the job done I have to pay $130 just for them coming to my house.

Scammers, they charge 300% more than other companies, not recommend!

Bought an unit from REM 11yrs ago alone with their service contract. I've had no problems and all of their technicians are professionals. I would highly recommend REM to fill your air condition needs.

Our old system stopped working on a very warm day and they were there in a few hours to repair it. They could have kept it running for a while longer but we had them propose a new system that we found to be very reasonable and it was installed the next day. Their work was neat and professional and we will be using them for as long as we own this house.

We bought our first air conditioning unit from REM almost 15 years ago. We have been very satisfied with the service they have provided over the years. Today they installed another air conditioner. All of the workers were tidy and polite. Joe, the owner and Chris, the salesperson, were both very nice and informative. So far we're staying nice and cool!
