I called on a Thursday night at 8pm with a no cool issue. They had an emergency tech to my house in 1 hour! The tech was able to quickly diagnose the issue and provide a fair repair estimate. Great service!

My AC went out on Tuesday night. I called at 8:00 AM the next morning. Fred was here by noon after receiving a call to let me know he was on his way. He was professional and knowledgable. We decided on a new system and by 7 PM Wednesday evening we were cooling down. Thank you so much for the fast service. Uze (sorry for the misspell) and John did a great job installing!

Been using this company for last 3yrs they came out and told me I needed a new coil and tried sell me a new unit something didn't seem right to me cause the unit was running fine called Del-Air for a second opinion and they said the unit is running great I'm posting this so people don't get taken advantage of.

I did a new AC Rheem install with PROMAG back in 2017. Technician did not inform me that i had to do a separate registration for extended 10 year warranty. ( Scam 1) So now i have only 5 years warranty. I have their annual maintenance package. ( SCAM 2) Nothing wrong 2 months ago during annual checkup and now the AC stopped working. Even after the maintenance package and PROMAG install, they wanted me to wait for 2 days for a technician to come onsite. Had to fight to get someone sameday for checking the unit.

Once onsite within 5 mins i was told i need a new coil due to refrigerant leakage (SCAM 3). since i was still in 5 year warranty it cost $1975 to replace the coil next day. After 1 day post new coil install the AC unit stopped working again. Must wait another day for a technician to come onsite. They are not interested in fixing their own mistakes.

I am sure this time I will be asked to spend more money on things that are not even the actual problems. PROMAG can't even figure out what the actual problem is. They are not interested in finding the problem. Their goto options are change coil or change motor and hope that fixes the problem. SCAM Continued: Third technician that came onsite said that the first technician didnt know what he was doing since one cannot determine in 5 mins ( without using any tools) that the leak is in the coil.

After an hour of checking he found the leak in the outside unit. ( Which makes me wonder was there ever an leak in the inside coil.: Quick cash (refer SCAM 3) from customer). Kicker is PROMAG has no one available today to fix the leak. Wait another day. Asked if they will fill up the refrigerant till tomorrow ( since they botched the first repair), the answer was that PROMAG cannot take the hit for another refill. ( PROMAG moto: let the customer suffer for PROMAG mistakes). Waiting to find out if PROMAG will refund the $1975 they charged me for a coil repair/replacement that was never needed. Hoping fourth times the charm in PROMAG company policy.

Bottom Line: PROMAG is a scam company( some individuals excluded). Do NOT use them for new installation. DO NOT use them for any repairs. DO NOT get their maintenance package. Beware if they ask you to change the Coil. (Guess that's their goto work for quick cask from the customer).

I have been using Promag for about 11 years and have had great service with quality materials/equipment and workmanship. Today's (12-3-21) visit went very well with Chris Bronson performing the checkup. He had a couple of very helpful suggestions for improving the electrical durability and usage. Chris was very knowledgeable and professional while being very courteous and friendly. It was easy to discuss the options with him. I look forward to future good work from Promag.

I helped do a tear out and complete install for these guys with Dave Irwin of Irwin Mechanical (which is no longer in business). ProMag paid Dave, but I never received my pay. We did this job on Saturday August 7th at 1000 Marabon Ave off of Conway Rd in Orlando. I'm still owed $300 cash. Would be nice if people and this company actually had integrity and worked honestly. I do not recommend this company at all. Shady work and a high number of verified complaints.

They just lost a 16 year customer. They installed two units in the last 16 years. Now on my current (6 yrs old) they are saying my 10 warranty is invalid because I didn't send the information to the manufacturer and want to charge me $2600. They handled all the paperwork for both units and are now telling me I have no warranty. I don't know what happened to this company but they are now liars thieves.

I cannot begin to fathom how unprofessional the representatives of this company are. After almost 2 weeks of my original A/C installments, this company show lack of competencies in their work in every category. The inspection failed on 4 separate occasions. When you spend so much money to get something done correctly, I expected at least the bare minimum of customer service.

I was told that I would be charged for their lack of work after the 5th attempt by the County of Osceola for failure of wire codes, permits, and failure of finishing work prior to inspection. They gave me a window between (12PM-3PM) for a scheduled inspection on the (5th attempt). The inspector came at 10 AM. I will never do business with this company again seek others.

The worst nightmare. We bought an ac system about 3 months ago and which has been failing ever since. Every time contact customer service their responses are unprofessional and care little to help fix the problem. The fourth time the ac shuts down and we called they never came to fix the problem. Being in Florida summer and days without AC is a big NO.

I helped this company with Dave Irwin ( whom they hired for the day) do an install for these guys Saturday August 7th 2021 @ 1000 Marabon Ave in Orlando. Went to their shop on John Young Parkway across from the Orange County Jail to puck up the units and supplies, met the owner and his son. Who was hitting lines of Cocaine off his office desk.( I guess you can do that when you own the building and rake in $59 million annually in revenue.) Anyway, this company did not pay me the $300 for helping Dave Irwin install this system. I've reached out to the owner, John Dean Taggerty and Dave Irwin for my money, to no avail. Bad company to work for or to do business with. They have too many bad reviews and have been investigated by Chanel 9 NEWS Todd Ulrich and the BBB. Now I see why.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I got a new unit 11 days ago, and the unit STILL isn't working. there so far has been 5 different techs to come out and fix a "new unit". Each time, the tech complained about something the previous tech did wrong. They were always late and one day didn't even show up. I knew something was wrong then. I have small children in a 93 degree unit for almost 2 weeks. $8,000 later, to make matters worse, when I called to find out what was going on there was a man in the "call center" who was extremely rude and hung up on me.

Literally told me, "never call here again" after I asked him about an update on another tech. This man wouldn't even provide his name and hung up on me twice. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I would avoid this company at ALL costs!

They're happy to charge $7400 for a brand new AC unit and install it on a Saturday, but then when it goes out two days later after business hours, despite the fact they claim to be a 24hr 7 day per week business, they can't get anyone out until between 9-12 the next day to fix it. RIDICULOUS.

I returned from a trip to find my AC not working. I have been getting service from Promag for many years and have my system checked by them twice a year. I called them and they were able to make it out the same day. They gave me a window of between 12 and 3:00 PM. The technician arrive at about 1:20 PM and spent about 50 minutes and got the system working.

He replaced the starting capacitor and installed a hard start. The cost was $675 which I thought was excessive considering the time he spent and the small cost of the parts he put in (less than $50). I called them and spoke to the owner about what I believed to excessive charges. I got no satisfaction in that conversation with him just telling me he needs to charge those rates. I think they take advantage of people in situations like mine. Recommend negotiating rates before any work is done.

The technicians are wonderful but the company itself seems to be over charging their customers. A part that only costs $15 online is sold by ProMag to their customers for $200! They also do not ensure you have the best set up, they are always in a rush and because of this the quality of their set ups are poor, costing the customers more money in future repairs. If they put more time and quality into their work, they could have a five star rating.

We just had CJ come in and review our AC to inspect the health of it. He was so friendly, professional and easy to work with. He explained everything we needed to know for future repair and was super knowledgeable. We are thankful for his time and for going above and beyond with answering all of our questions. They cold call to solicit business. When I missed the call and called back, the woman was rude and ended up hanging up on me. I'm pregnant and struggling with such awful nausea, I didn't need her to give me a headache on top of it. By the looks of other reviews, this is a company to avoid.

Very upset with ProMag. We helped our daughter whose husband was in the hospital. A/C failed and ProMag says we need new unit after only 7 years. Told us we were getting a great deal, only to find out later that they had overcharged us by about $3000. Took weeks to finish some of the work and turns out they did not submit warranty papers on previous installation so no warranty. Said they would submit on this job (done in Feb 2020) but did not. Had to be asked again to do it. I feel like ProMag took advantage of a family going through a hard time with exceptionally high cost and low performance. Shame on ProMag 1/2 Star

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. $8,300 later, their work has resulted in a home that cools no lower that 83 degrees. Their technician was fired shortly after for attempting to fix the issue and admit fault. They quoted, diagnosed, and installed a unit that is an entire ton too small for the house it was quoted for. The owner was unavailable to discuss the issue and once finally contacted, acted unprofessionally (interrupting, yelling) and refused to fix the issue without even MORE money at the owners expense. Do not hire this company under any circumstance.

Have had the AC system they installed for less than a year and have already had to call the tech out twice for issues. The first issue ended up costing us $500 because apparently Freon is not covered in the warranty. Thankfully, the second visit the tech was a decent human being and stated he would not have had to been called if the person who serviced our first call would have done their job right. All in all, for an overpriced system, we have had far below value in customer service and technical support. Will never being going or recommending them again.

We are selling our home and need to get a professional electrician out to review our buyers inspection report! John Taggart came out asap, was very easy to communicate with and arrived right on time. He walked us through the report and in detail explained everything that was brought up in the report. Luckily the report was not accurate at all and he gave us peace of mind knowing that there were no problems of concern.

He was very professional and honest. His knowledge of electric services were outstanding and you can walk away feeling confident that his 20+ years of experience is 100% accurate. We will now from this point on be using this company for any future business we may need.

I have not received any service from this company. This review is about my experience with them on a brief 1 minute call. Someone called me saying that they are on my street and want to schedule an appointment for AC tune up. I mentioned that I was in a meeting and politely asked this guy to call me back later (I did need someone to look at my AC). He said, "no, because you are not in a meeting". I am glad that I did not entertain this rude person any longer. Also, I will never hire this company for any work.

Horrible! Dishonest! People. Quacks. They came to my home and gave a wrong diagnosis that my defrost board is bad and recommended buying a new Carrier unit from them at $5700 or a Trane unit at $6200. They also gave me the option of changing the board at $870 and said that I will wait all weekend for them to order it. He charged me $110 for making the "goofy"diagnosis.

Immediately he left, I went to Thumbtack. website and searched and got another AC company to come and check out the AC. The guy within minutes found out that the drain was clogged and cleaned it and I started enjoying my cooling. Please DO NOT Waste your money with these dishonest people.

My family used this company to install a new ac unit in there summer home and we experienced the worst customer service. A/c unit was not installed properly the first time so we had to literally hunt down the boss to fix the A/C properly. What is even more suspicious now (three years later) is that we have 4 permits still opened by these guys and they are saying we have to pay to close permits ( $500.00)that they opened to complete the job. Shame on you guys!

ROUGH START but a SUCCESSFUL ENDING! I'm not sure what happened to the level of customer since from the dispatch team since the last time using this company [2015] but it is far lacking the communication once rec'd. I went from having a minor leak, getting the entire line replace at a cost of several thousand dollars, only to have a MAJOR a/c problem. Worst of all, no follow-up from the company, and no after hours service on Friday. @Office Personnel - there will always be angry customers but its how you handle it that makes you shine as a star.

For instance, instead of me calling you numerous times call me with an update on your technicians ETA. FYI - There's apps that does it for you instantly. @Technicians - the 4 STARS is because of the technicians and Tara. Empathy goes along way when dealing with a frustrated customer. These guys [both teams, Tido and Robert / Juan and Raul] but their humps in correcting the problem with eagerness and a smile. I'm very appreciative of them. @JD - your field techs are working hard at making your company look good.

If would be nice if your office personnel upgrade their communication skills or tweak their effectiveness with being proactive. I GUARANTEE you will see more business with more positive reviews - ijs!
