Isaac was super helpful today, finding the issue with my A/C compressor within two minutes and then doing a bunch of diagnostics to confirm everything was in working order. He had a great attitude even in the blazing heat. At the end, he made a good recommendation for a maintenance plan going forward. Thanks Isaac for a great experience!

Kevin helped us choose the right product without it feeling like we were being pressured to buy more than we wanted/needed. And working with him made navigating the contract and process with ease. The lead technician Brad did great work and him and his team left no mess. We've had a few teams of people in for various work on the house but Home Energy Center was the most efficient and professional. Brad also found a better place to put the outdoor unit which was both convenient for us and made the work of the electrician much simpler. The work inside and outside looks great. A few weeks later and everything is working great. We are definitely very satisfied.

They just finished a large project for us, and we are extremely happy with the result! Every touchpoint with the company was a positive experience. Starting with the lady who approached us at Home Depot in Eagan to have a free assessment of the energy use in our home. Turns out we'd already had about five companies out for various assessments and tune ups of our utility systems. Having just bought our house, our unmaintained underperforming furnace and water heater was an unpleasant surprise.
We had yet to have the problems solved. Salesman John was extremely thorough and didn't rush us at all. We knew we could trust this company during our meeting with him as he understood the issues we needed resolved. The previous owners finished the basement, having three main trunk lines, but scrambled up the zones. Our job was unique and atypical because it required someone to cut into the finished basement ceiling and fix the ductwork, and they were willing to take it on.
We also had the furnace and water heater replaced. I wish I could name all of the people who worked on our project, from the technicians to the scheduler. The Master Service Technician, Steve Cupps, oversaw the nebulous task of making our basement system work as it should have in the first place. Hunter also came out to our house multiple times to assist with the furnace installation, drywall cutting, and ductwork.
Three other gentlemen also installed the furnace and a new return for the basement. Even though there were many hands on the job, their coordination was outstanding. The electricians came in to do their part during the furnace install, which they mentioned specializing in. I couldn't be happier with the quality of all of their work. Steve Cupps in particular made us feel comfortable during the entire process, which involved a handful of full days considering the exploratory ductwork fixing that was necessary. I honestly didn't think this exemplary quality of service existed from an HVAC company. We couldn't have made a better choice going with them. Thank you Home Energy Center!

Chris Andersen and his team did an excellent job installing our furnace and AC. Chris explained exactly what his team would be doing before he started, while they were doing the installation, and explained how everything worked after the installation was completed. The cleanup was exceptional. Chris went above and beyond as he carried in a box that was delivered to our house while they were installing the furnace. We are very satisfied with the job Chris and his team did for us!

The only thing good about the two units I bought costing $15,000 is the sales person &installers were great, BUT ENDS THERE! I now need it tuned up during Jan-March so I called in Feb & Home depot says she left them a message to their answering service to call me about a tune up. I was a long time before hearing from them but finally made an appointment!
The day before my appointment I had a sister that ended up in hospital & besides going to see her, we needed to clean her condo out as she wont be well enough to go back so was there week or longer but I called the day before my appointment & told them I needed to cancel as I had emergencies as I also had a pug with an emergency eye problem. The day of my appointment the tech left me a message trying to service my air conditioner!
I left him a message about my cancelling it & why! I didnt hear back. So I called Home depot again last Mon telling them I needed my tune up this week as I had many appointments next 2 weeks, so they didnt call until today during one of my appointments leaving me voice mail telling me that they tried to service my units my last appontment! I called her back, AGAIN PLAYING PHONE TAG, telling her how unhappy I was spending all this $$$ with lousy service! I did not hear back so I called again leaving another message! I think I will call my installer tomorrow, I am not happy for the $$$$$$$$ I spent! I am in Phoenix not Ca!

This company sent a technician to my mother-in-law's house last week to replace a condenser type device near the firebox in the furnace. The technician did not/could not figure out where the three bolts were supposed to go to re-attach the motor to the condenser assembly. He put one bolt in the incorrect place, putting an extra hole in the condenser, which is now missing a bolt where it should have gone in the first place.
This happened last Tuesday, November 21. This company is associated with Home Depot. I have contacted them numerous times since last Wednesday, to try to get them to return to the house and fix this issue. They have been lax in returning my telephone calls, forcing me to call them numerous times. I told a customer service representative there this morning that I wanted the problem fixed today.
He wanted to have the last word, was quite obnoxious, and told me they would not come out until Friday at the earliest. I had to agree since I have few options at this point. The technician did not have extra bolts of any kind in his vehicle. That seems unprofessional for someone who works on the same type of equipment all the time. We will not be using this company again, ever. Use them at your own risk!
