Ryan did a fantastic job with our whole house duct cleaning. He was careful and thorough. He diligently cleaned the ducts, dryer vent and air exchange system. I can tell our air quality is already improving. We had home construction and there was a lot of debris in our vents before Ryan came. I would definitely recommend!

Had Tech. Chad out once in June 2021 when we first bought the home and the Inspector didn't do a proper inspection of the A/C. Chad knew our home and what needed a temporarily fix and fixed it. June 2022, Chad came again and knew what the problem was and fixed it! Installed a new Nest Thermostat and did a great job! May have been more expensive but, at least I knew it was done right! Will continue to use them for future issues. I love the 5 for $25.00 Drive! Great way to give back!

Had to update an old AC system, but was unsure about how to select a new one. We needed our air conditioner replaced since our current one was old and not cooling anymore. Richard came out to the house and spent 2 hours going through our options, measuring the rooms, looking at our current set-up, etc. He was very thorough. We signed the contract and set up installation for the following week. They called on Friday to let us know they had a cancellation on Saturday, which we grabbed.
Perfect timing with the hot Memorial Day weekend weather. Brandon was our installer and he was great. Very professional and kind. The electrician was very nice as well. He fully explained the wi-if thermostat (love this by the way). We are very pleased with everything from start to finish. Would recommend Standard Heating & Air Conditioning.

I have been using these guys for years across multiple homes. I highly recommend the annual service contract which gives you twice-yearly checkups of your furnace and A/C to proactively deal with any problems and ensure no surprises during blizzards or heat waves! KC Gliem did a great job in explaining the mechanicals in my new home, including identifying where the previous owners had made some patches that he tidied up. He cleaned out the clogged A/C unit and replacing the dying capacitor, and I am good to go for the summer!

Used them for nearly two decades. Regardless of who comes, they (a) are incredibly polite and professional; (b) show up exactly on time with a courtesy call on the way; (c) offer different maintenance plans which save plenty of money, and (d) can easily accommodate you should your schedule change. We have now used them on two homes and we never have to worry about our furnace or A/C in the winter or summer - we know they've thoroughly inspected them. Just a terrific business!

I first called Standard Heating and Air Conditioning 5 years ago and they performed some maintenance on my 22-year-old furnace. The technician was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We discussed the possibility of my old furnace failing during the winter and I decided to buy a new furnace and air conditioner. The units were installed 4 years ago and have functioned well ever since. Also, I have controlled my maintenance costs by joining Standard's Smart Club.
For a small monthly fee, I am eligible for free periodic maintenance to ensure that my equipment will always function properly, and, as a club member, I go to the head of the line in case I might need emergency service. Yesterday, Ben arrived and performed my annual preventive maintenance service. It took an hour and he verified that I would have no problems during the next year. He did a great job. When friends ask for my recommendation, I always point to Standard Heating.

Usual excellent service doing an annual furnace inspection by Casey. He informed me about a potential problem with the furnace secondary heat exchanger. Informed me it was not urgent but warranted monitoring. He gave me three options for addressing the problem when and if it needed attention, including that money was available from a lawsuit settlement trust that would lower my costs.
Very knowledgeable, very understandable explanations. Casey also provided information on a thermostat option I had asked about. Ive used Standard for over 20 years and have always gotten excellent knowledgeable and courteous service.

Our technician's name was Jake. He was very responsive and detailed in his service. He made sure our heater was safe and ready for the winter season. He pulled out the motor of the unit to make sure there was no corrosion or cracks. Very nice and pleasant to talk to. He explained everything he was looking for and if there was concerns.

Standard Heating does a good job. Their technician Chee came out, checked our furnace and made it sure it was working correctly along with testing for carbon monoxide. He was courteous, efficient, and got the job done. And all while wearing paper booties and a mask. And this is how it's been with every single one of their technicians. They're good company.

Scheduling with Standard was very easy, and I appreciated how quickly I reached a person and was able to get on the schedule. We had hired Standard to do a tune-up of the heating system after purchasing a home where the inspector noted it was needed and in order to get an A/C install quote. The technician who came did the tune-up and said everything was working well--great!
When I asked about the quote, he said that he "wasn't focused on the A/C" so we'd need to call back to get someone else out to do that quote. That was odd, but as A/C isn't needed right now it wasn't a big deal. Two weeks went by where only contractors were in the home, and they reported that the heat wasn't working. So we called Standard, and to their credit, they had someone out the very next day.
The woman I spoke with in scheduling assured me my credit card would not be charged for the visit without further discussion (obviously our question was why would we be charged for 2 visits when the technician should have recognized the issue on the first visit) and authorization. Regardless, he came and discovered the heat wasn't even on (needed to contact the gas company).
Not sure how he did a thorough check worth $500 without the boiler being on (or without noticing it wasn't on). But I wasn't going to complain given how quickly they were out to resolve it. However, I noticed today--without any communication to me from Standard--that they charged another $200 for this visit! I was assured several times that my card would not be charged without first getting my authorization. All in all I'm glad we had this experience as now we won't be asking them for a quote to install A/C after all.

We recently called Standard Heating & Air for a furnace tune-up. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly. Mitchell was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. He explained what we can expect based on the age of our furnace. He explained what he found during the tune-up. We signed up for their Smart Club maintenance program. We are also on their schedule for air duct cleaning. We highly recommend Standard.

Casey came over to do the annual maintenance on our furnace, in preparation for the Winter. He was prompt, polite, and communicated well about issues he uncovered. The lady who came over to work on our air conditioner maintenance earlier in the year was also very professional and a good communicator. I really like working with these people. They have always provided good service.
But it seems like in the recent times the technicians are even better about customer relationships, wearing masks, putting booties on their feet, and just generally being nice to have around. We have an annual maintenance plan with them so they always make sure our furnaces and air conditioners are in good working order, filters are changed, and we get discounts if repairs are needed.

Chris handled our yearly boiler maintenance ahead of the 2021-22 heating season. We always find Chris to be personable, professional, hard working and thorough with his work. Chris was timely (called with a heads up when he was about 30 minutes away) and answered all of my questions, making the entire process seamless and pleasant. Used other heating and air conditioning repair and replace contractors in Minneapolis. None come to Standard Heating and cooling. Their service is top notch both in quality and professionalism. They way I found them was when another heating contractor did not have the capacity to assist me with a urgent problem. I asked who he would recommend? Standard Heating was his number one.
Have been with them ever since. Also joined their Smart Club after they replaced a fan in my furnace. Now my maintenance for heat and ac is prepaid. You get priority service in an emergency as well as discounts.

We have used Standard Heating & Air Conditioning for over 30 years and LOVE them! We continue to be blown away by their knowledgeable, courteous, and consistent team (many have been coming to our house for over a decade)! We have never considered changing because each experience we have with them outdoes the last experience. From their office staff to their technicians everyone has gone above and beyond.
We just had Jerad out for our annual service call and we were blown away with his professionalism, patience, and ability to explain exactly what was going on with our system and clearly explained what options we have - which included doing nothing and they will monitor. Absolutely love them! Went with them for a furnace a few years ago and just got an air conditioner as well last season. When they were here to install the AC, they noticed our furnace made a slightly unusual noise- turns out we needed a new pricey part that was still covered by the warranty (that they replaced that same day!). Everyone my partner and I have encountered with them has been lovely- totally recommend!

We had them install central air with an existing furnace. Joe was our sales guy, he gave us options and advice so it felt like we were making an educated decision. They were not the least expensive quote but they were fairly priced and had the best reputation which I am willing to pay a little extra for. Cody serviced our AC the following summer, it was working fine but we like to have annual tune-ups on our equipment.
We joined the smart club which saves us money on the tunes and if anything does go wrong, priority status. Which is what you want in a scenario where a system does fail. Also, I recommended them to my friend Willagus and Ludagfi.

Standard installed a new AC unit a couple of years ago. It has never worked properly. This summer I'm about to call them for the fourth or fifth time about it. They sent a couple of what appeared to be teenage boys to install a new compressor and that failed. They sent out someone else who fiddled around with the wiring and it worked for a day or two. They sent our yet another guy who seemed to fix it and it worked for a couple of weeks and now it's out again. What do I have to do to get them to fix this damn thing?

This winter I had a furnace issue and Yelp led me here! Amazing service technician who explained in detail exactly what was wrong with my furnace. He took extra time to go over everything, even which furnace filters are best. And get this~He did not recommend the most expensive ones. The price was very fair and my furnace works like a charm! They have a monthly service plan where you get check ups twice a year on both your furnace and air-conditioning unit.

My first time dealing with Standard Heating and Air was impressive. Who would have thought that within 2 hours of calling these guys I would be sitting in a warm living room again after my furnace stopped working this afternoon. Super happy with my experience today. Another thing to note: Chad was our technician and this guy is an absolute delight to work with.

Love their annual check up plan for my furnace and air conditioner. Just got my furnace looked at. Our technician, Cody, was AWESOME! Super friendly and followed all COVID-19 guidelines. He was more than happy to answer our questions. They also installed my furnace in 2014. I've always had great prompt service from them. Would definitely recommend Standard.

I'm going to start serious here. No, I'm not! Denise came over and spent 2.5 hours explaining everything about a new furnace and her personal life with her dog. Loved Denise but that dog.love the dog too! She ate all the ribs I was cooking.she loves BBQ, but she used a whole roll of expensive paper towels (Brawny.not the cheap stuff), then she chugged 4 of my Sugar Peak (really generic Mountain Dew).
She burped in my dogs face then explained SEER and a bunch of other baloney (like the hot dogs she insisted I feed to her crew). Her crew showed up, drank a bunch of my tap water (12 cents on my bill) and were all about explaining what they were doing.like a brain surgeon explaining cutting out a left lobe.yeah, I get it!? But they explained it very clearly, as Denise did when she explained the process and then kissed my dog on the lips (maybe tongue?).
Point being this. Standard and Denise, Rob, Kevin and the team are AWESOME. Such an awesome and ETHICAL company. We are so glad we went with Standard and Denise who actually cared and took care of us. Look no further than Standard. There is a reason for their name.they set the Standard!
