So thankful they had weekend service and turned my boiler on asap! 10/10

I don't typically write reviews but I felt it unconscionable not to say how this company dealt with my parents. They installed a new all tanks for my parents on Thursday, February 3, by the evening the boiler was not working. They came back and said there was air in the line and got it back on line. The next day the same thing happened three days in a row.

My parents called Saturday night at 8 o'clock saying the boiler was not working it was 16° outside. They told them they could not send anyone until the morning. Note my parents are in their 80's. I called at 8am Sunday morning 2-6-2022, I spoke to Antonio the supervisor he told me someone would come out this morning and resolve the problem. I spoke to my parents at 1 o'clock in the afternoon and still no one had to come out.

I called the main number and spoke to Kimberly who before I can even finish saying what I had to say put me on hold and transferred me through to Antonio. When I called Kimberly back she refused to give me the name of her supervisor and started to laugh as if it was a joke and then when I had them transfer me again in mid-sentence. Who then proceeded to tell me that someone had come out and looked at the problem and said they cannot come until tomorrow to fix it.

They lied nobody came to the house because my parents were sitting there waiting for someone to come. When I called Antonio back he proceeded to tell me that my parents boiler is old and it needs to be replaced, and somebody had come out because that's how they knew how much material they needed to fix the job. This company does not deserve any stars. If anyone could post the name of the owner. I hope the owner reads these comments because with this kind of service how can they even be in business.

A company that takes care of the customer. Very responsive to your needs. Great customer service.

.Please DO NOT deal with this company. They Never give you an appointment, never notice you that they will come. They just show up to refill the oil even the tank till full and send you high bill. Automatic charge from credit card. They steal your money.

In reading some of the negative reviews. I was shocked.some are from 2 to 3 yrs ago so maybe things have changed.but I have been using Paragon for years and both delivery.repairs and even customer service are 5 star.

Liars Complete liars. I was out of oil and called Paragon Oil and was promised a next day delivery. They even put me on hold for 20 min while they checked and confirmed delivery. They rushed for payment to be sent over. Then the next morning at 10 am I am told they will not deliver untill Monday. Then I am advise it may take a week to refund me my payment.

Completely crooked company. Most reviews from reviewers that that are positive only have 1 or 2 reviews. They must be fake reviews and friends of the company. They have a very low rating for a reason. Please be careful with Paragon Oil.

They do not confirm what time they are coming when you make an appointment. Instead, they just show up at your door randomly and expect you to let them in. When you ask for some sort of ID, they refuse to show any ID. After they leave you might find your car and front walkway vandalized with spackle.

This company is the best. The Staff is incredible, very skilled, accommodating. Prices are great, and time after time has gotten me out of jams. They recently replaced my oil tank. There technicians were professional, and efficient. They are the best. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING PARAGON OIL, YOU ARE # 1.

A few months ago I called Paragon oil because my boiler was not working the way it usually does. The receptionist Sandra was very friendly. They sent a technition, Ivan. He listen to what I expained was going on and went straight to work. He was professional and friendly. I was very satisfy with his work. Thanks Ivan and Paragon

Petty bad service. Better you try elsewhere. Technicians are inept and I suspect dishonest. I have been a customer for a number of years and the service keeps getting worse. I gave two stars only because someone will show up but other than that the service stinks. Buyer beware.

I've been buying my Heating Oil from Paragon Oil Co. for the past 25 years, and they have never once missed an appointment, or even came later than the scheduled delivery. People shouldn't wait until their tank is empty, to order their fuel. If they're not getting regular deliveries, or using the computerized system (that takes temperature into consideration), then they should check their tanks regularly in the winter months. That way, they won't ever be calling for oil when they are snowed in, and all traffic is at a standstill. I have no complaints at all with Paragon Oil.

Worst company ever! Not professional. At all! I was using them faithfully till the turned around and took my money and cancel my order without a call or anything they don't like to transfer calls to supervisors or managers WORST MISTAKE USING THIS COMPANY

The worst oil company ever. They're not even a legit company. When my boiler kept stopping, I would call and they would send someone from another company. They're not even profession but amateurs. No one knows what they're doing and these idiots kept changing the same parts and I told them that was changed a month ago so that's not the problem.

So obviously something should click in their head but no. Also when they give you a receipt, its hand written. Cant afford a machine?!? They eventually blocked my number. I called using my husbands phone and they picked up. Never use this company.

On multiple occasions this company has not delivered oil at the time they promise. Some times multiple days after the date they say they would deliver. This company does not deserve your money.

I received a missed call about an installation and I did my best to follow up. I called the company later and was told by a woman that my information was not in the system. She suggested I wait for the person to call back. Anthony called my number about my installation. At first he was friendly, but the next day, when the driver called about the appointment -- he had the wrong information, I realized Anthony never confirmed the address nor the name of the application during the call the night before.

I called back and Anthony did a 180. Now he was really rude and unhelpful. I gave him the correct address to look up my information. Nothing. I gave the number and it was associated with the wrong address. He refused to acknowledge that there was a mistake and began interrupting and talking over me. I don't know how my number ended up on that application, but I was simply trying to tell him it didn't belong there. Instead, I had to listen to this grown man with a job lecture me that either I or someone else did something wrong.

That is fine. Mistakes are bound to happen, but at least take the time to listen, and perhaps call the second number on the application to let the ACTUAL applicants know about their appointment?

Terrible service. My biggest complaint? The one that put my family at risk. They were hired for their annual service to check safety & functionality of the boiler. The service was poor, resulting in substantial loss of oil (and an incredible health & safety hazard). We are fine, thankfully, but incurred additional costs for repair for something that was "checked" a few months ago and deemed safe by their negligent repairman.

While this is grounds for suit, it isn't worth the headache of dealing with the company again, including Supervisor "Dave, " who is unprofessional and unconcerned with the hazard to their customers or the loss of business by this one family. Never again.

Would not recommend. Purchased almost $2,000 in oil from Paragon in 2014 and allowed Paragon to sell me a service contract so I would get the preferred rate on future oil purchases. I converted to gas heat less than one month after purchasing Paragon oil and service contract and requested a refund for the service contract. They ignored my request and when i made a subsequent inquiry in 2015, they informed me the contract had been cancelled because I did not purchase oil exclusively from Paragon.

How confused! To make matters worse, they sent me an invoice for the renewal of the service contract they cancelled for failing to purchase oil from them. They have not responded to telephone calls or mailings. Too much trouble to go to small claims or consumer affairs, but let my experience be your knowledge.

Our church/school has been using Paragon for over 10 years. Prompt service. Friendly, courteous drivers. Reasonably priced (is any oil cheap these days?). Highly recommend.

Ordered oil for same day delivery. I was assured that it would arrive with no delay and receive a call half hour before arrival. No call no show, called the office multiple times and couldn't get a straight answer on delivery. If you need an emergency oil delivery forget calling this company.

This place sucks needed a delivery ordered on Friday said they would be here Sat called sat nasty person picked up the phone said have patience truck was on its way well P.S truck never showed up again on Sunday was told that truck was on its was and it is now 8pm still no delivery Why did they not just tell the truth instead of making us wait with small children and elderly in the building If they could not make it just say so so we can call someone else this place is a joke I would not use them or recommend anyone else to a bunch of bullshit!

I love Paragon Oil! They know their stuff, oil and service prices fair, but more, they are dependable. As someone who is not knowledgeable about how to manage oil consumption in my home, they are incredible. Thank you, Paragon.

Will never order anything from Paragon, not oil, not service. We had some water tank problem; the service guy walked in; I told him what I thought the problem was and what I thought needed to be replaced (hot water circulator), he said he'd found out about the price of it and would come back later, and I never heard from him again. He spent in our house 2 and a half minutes not touching anything, but company pre-charged my card for the full service call! (now I am even thinking -- who was that guy? no ID, and did not give me any papers to sign!) Later that day somebody else from Paragon called telling me new circulator with the labor would be about $500 more!

We called the other company, and their service man did the inspection and diagnose (he actually opened the circulator and checked all wires, etc. (and did that for free!). Oh, and Paragon's oil is not the lowest price.

Bless you bless you bless you Paragon Oil Co. Your guy got the burner burning and restored heat to me and my tenants. He came with all the right tools and technology and impressed us with his can-do attitude. What a contrast with the yahoos that showed up from Empire State Fuel! Of course, if you'd answered the phone on Christmas Eve we wouldn't have tried the yahoos, but this is a minor complaint, because NOW WE HAVE HEAT! Plus you have reasonable prices for oil and deliver quickly without a contract.
