Buildings can have complex HVAC and energy management needs. Today's buildings cannot operate efficiently without Building Automation Systems (BAS), also referred to as Building Automation and Control Systems (BACS) or Building Control System (BCS), which have become vital in maximizing efficiency, sustainability and profitability.
Infrared thermography plays a key role in maintaining your equipment. Visual examinations and inspections do not reveal the same level of detail that is gathered through infrared inspections. Infrared thermography detects when internal components are going bad, such as internal contacts of motor starters, circuit breakers, and lighting contactors.

Environmental Services maintains the HVAC for my church, a large building with a separate office. Scott came by today to get up on the roof and do a no cost courtesy check. We looked at about 10 thermostats and he helped reset them all so that we could save some money with a revised schedule. He was super friendly and helpful. I look forward to working with this company. Scott had years of experience and did not seem bothered in giving me some extra time today. Thank you Environmental Services!

Some companies are concerned with providing good service and doing good by their clients, and in turn, continue to get business through referrals and satisfied return customers. Other companies are solely focused on what they can bill you for. Environmental Services installed a new HVAC system for us and did a great job. Unfortunately, they left no information with us, or had no conversation, about basic maintenance and operation.
When the indoor control panel went blank 9 months after they installed it, I called them for service. I wasn't sure if there were batteries in the device that needed replaced, but I didn't want to rip it off the wall and potentially damage something further to find out. They didn't ask me any questions about it over the phone to see if the problem could be diagnosed easily without a service call.
They sent someone the next day. He took it off the wall and asked if I had any batteries. I did. We put my batteries in and the device started working again. Then we discussed the need for regular maintenance of the system, something that was never discussed before, during, or after the installation of the system. I then got a bill (see attached) for nearly $300.
Apparently it took two hours to change these batteries (it didn't). After calling and discussing the situation with them and having upper management review my concerns with the bill, it was still determined to all be "billable". I'm not a big fan of leaving negative reviews, but I hope this will either motivate ES to rethink how they handle service calls and how they prioritize what is billable and what is reasonable. If not, I hope it saves someone else the frustration of using a company that has these priorities backwards.

Customer servive is terrible. These guys are penny wise and pound foolish. Would rather jam you on couple bucks than make something right. Told them issue wasn't reslolved on first trip made and could they go back out without a charge to check on issue. found out they came back and charged me for two hours of "work" without letting me know. Take your business elsewhere. Not good for small business owners and large clients watch your expenses!

I was very disappointed with the service. The technician who came onsite did not clean up after himself as he looked into the scope of the work. He informed me that he would provide a quote for the work, and I never heard back from him. I called him several times, and he never responded. I finally called the main office to see if that technician was no longer there, and after a little research, they informed me that they were not interested in this job with no other explanation or apology for the lack of communication.
It would have been nice for them to call and tell me that. I would not recommend their service. I had a much better experience with Action Mechanical and Ross & Witmer. Good luck!
