I'm reviewing after our second experience with Absolute Comfort, from the Colorado Springs area. I called to find out if they'd check out our bathroom vent which had stopped working. They were professional from beginning to end. I lucked into an early availability and they came by the day after my call. Their techs are not only experienced and highly skilled, they don't hesitate to give you all of your options on any job they are there to assess for you. Repair costs are reasonable (nothing is cheap anywhere, but these people are reasonable).

Our first experience with Absolute Comfort was last fall when our central heating was giving us grief. They found the problem, fixed it and there you go! Call these people if you want a customer oriented, professional staff to come help you out! Pauline Easter Colorado Springs

Absolute Comfort did an outstanding job repairing my in-floor and baseboard heating system. David was meticulous in diagnosing and repairing the system (6 zones, 2 pumps, 2 controllers, etc.) Nick was responsive, thorough, and took the time to explain the details to me. And the office staff was polite and efficient. The repaired system is quiet and running better than ever. A+.

I recently moved to the area and my water heater was failing. I called Absolute Comfort and they immediately sent out a technician to assess my issue. The appraiser came the next day and quoted me a very fair price and put me on the schedule. The installers just left and they were extremely professional, efficient, and considerate. From the first person I called to the last person I saw everyone at Absolute Comfort was a pleasure to interact with.

I have to give Scott, one of the installers, special recognition. He stopped my dog when he tried to make a break for it. I will use Absolute Comfort as long as I am in Colorado Springs!

Installed a mini-split system last April and it has worked perfectly since then (it's now August). The install was fairly complex but went very smoothly. Highly recommended. Service: AC installation

We had a great experience. Could smell a small gas leak from our stove. They came out the next day and handled quickly. Price was fair. I was glad that I had been referred to them.

Water heater replacement. I highly recommend Absolute Comfort for this service(they also do furnace work)! Our hot water heater decided to check out on Monday afternoon and Absolute Comfort squeezed us in on a same day service call and our water heater was replaced the next day. They treated us as a priority which is super refreshing based on past experiences with service companies. Professional, courteous and caring! We have been a repeat customer of Absolute Comfort. The last water they had put in lasted 17 years, which is very good for a hard water area like ours. Last Friday morning our water heater wasn't working anymore. I called Absolute Comfort and Chris called me a couple of hours later and was on his way out to our home in Monument. After assessing the issues, he gave me an estimate that I agreed to. About 2 hours later, he and 2 other technicians, returned and had a new one in our house before the weekend. All is working well and I was very happy with the service.

I like that Absolute Comfort is locally owned and has been in business for over 30 years. Dave, the tech showed up on time; was clean (wore shoe covers and a mask); was professional and was super friendly answering my questions. I will definitely call them again and will recommend them to my friends.

My family and I got our furnace replaced through absolute comfort back in 2008. Our furnace was really old and it was time to get a new one. Colorado Springs utility recommended us to get furnace through them and I believe Robert was our estimator. He was very nice and honest with the price.

Nick and his team replaced our aging solar water heater system and did a great job. Nick came out within a day of me calling. He gave the system a thorough check and realized the old system was barely working. He gave us several different options and price points. He and his team came out when they said they would and were finished in the time frame they gave us.

They were knowledgable and very respectful of us and our home and showed the utmost courtesy. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and they will be the company I use for all future heating and cooling maintenance jobs.

I called about a boiler Absolute installed a decade ago, and had serviced previously. It was acting up. Mind you, before they came, I got it going again! The tech came anyway to explore why it was acting up, offer a permanent fix. But he didn't seem to know what he was doing, got annoyed that I looked over his shoulder, charged me too much for a service call, then gave me a vague, pricey estimate for repairs.

I called another company. This guy knew what he was doing, explained everything, gave me a written list/receipt, and charged me a fair price. I understand that Absolute's boiler expert has retired. They may be great for other things, but since I have a boiler, I'm not going back.

These folks are the best. We had a confusing solar water system and they were only ones of 3 candidates who could figure it out. Then on multiple small repairs to other systems, they have always been prompt and reasonable. Then an emergency furnace outage in a rental property and they were completely on top of it asap. They have earned our loyalty for sure.

Two stars for fixing the capacitor right away but charged $350 for labor that took less than an hour. Capacitor is about $25. WTF. Of course I found out the price of the part after the fact. When it's an urgent situation in 90 degree heat you tend to pay whatever price they give you. But I think the companies that DO NOT inflate prices in stressful times deserve loyalty and repeat customers. This place does not deserve that. High Altitude Air (Eric) turned out to be awesome.

I can't give them five stars because I've never used another ac/heating place before. I was just told to call them from a friend. While they were (very) late, they did get the problem fixed (compressor starter). They are relatively expensive, as some of the other reviewers are saying but if you can't fix it yourself, you really have no choice. I will definitely shop around next time. lesson learned and hey, my ac is working. lol

We had a problem with our solar unit pump. (Solar experts are harder to find than you may think) Nick came out and isolated the problem. A few days later, when parts were obtained and was he was able to send an associate out, the parts were installed, along with some new valves that will help us if problems occur in the future. The work was done in about an hour. We are extremely pleased and will call them again, if necessary.

We noticed our A/C was not cooling properly since moving into our house recently. (6 year old house) It started making a loud squeal sound when the fan blades wouldn't move. Our normal HVAC company was so busy and booked so I called these guys. He came out once but that didn't really fix it. When I called to tell him that, he came back with an estimate of $2847 to replace the entire condensing unit. I'm sure that would have "fixed" it but did I need to actually replace the whole unit? Speaking to my normal HVAC guys on the phone they didn't think that was necessary from what I was telling them and it was only 6 years old.

After my usual company came out- they determined I only needed to replace the fan motor and capacitor - $525. My guy had a wire meter to help diagnose the fact that the motor was working way harder than it should to run. Absolute comfort didn't seem to have an answer for me on how to be SURE what it was. And his explanations were so complicated we couldn't understand what he was saying. I'd like to give these guys the benefit of the doubt that they truly believed I needed to replace the entire unit for $2847 and not just the fan motor but it sure wouldn't have benefited my wallet to have done that. I do appreciate that they were able to come out faster but if I had to spend more than I should have, is that worth it?

Stellar. Furnace would not kick on and house was freezing! They appreciated the urgency of my situation and worked around my schedule. I felt they were 100% trustworthy so I just unlocked the house and had them assess and fix. Very personable and high level of integrity and efficiency.

Absolute Comfort has done tremendous work for me. They installed a very efficient boiler which heats my entire house (including hot water) and lowered my energy bill. Also installed split A/C systems for the summer heat. The work is very high quality. These folks truly know what they're doing and they do excellent work. I'm grateful for their service, they are the only HVAC company I will trust.

We had a boiler/furnace replacement done by Absolute Comfort. We were very pleased with the longevity of the 2 workmen who came for the 3 day installation, and their quality work. When the city inspector came and commented "I sleep better when THIS company installs these boiler units".well, that was super to hear! They were very complimentary with the workmanship this company provides, also, so we definitely made a great decision with this purchase!

Excellent, timely service; technician was knowledgable and professional and cost was reasonable. So glad I could call and have someone to my house within hours to fix my furnace on an extremely cold day! Thank you!

This is a despicable business. We hired them to repair our swamp cooler. When we called back roughly one year later to inquire about a problem, the person answering the phone was too busy berating me when I simply inquired about the company's warranty policy to even bother to ask me my name. He was quick to end the call telling me they'd be happy to come out and repair for a fee though.

This is what is wrong with America! Shouldn't customer service and courtesy come first. This guy was only concerned with explaining in a million ways why their work wouldn't be covered under warranty. But, he never even bothered to ask for the customer's name! He never even bothered to look up our service record. Yet, he expects us to use his company again. This is why America isn't as great as it could be! Congrats Affordable! You should be proud.

I had Absolute Comfort replace the water heater in my house. I was very impressed with the job they did. He took the time to explain to me what all he did and why he did it. I also had an issue with my water pressure coming into my house and he fixed that for me and didn't charge me. I would recommend them and will continue to use them.

We had a pump fail on our radiant heating system. Absolute Comfort came out on a Saturday to fix. It was an $80 part and took less than an hour to fix. The technician charged $454. When asked for a break out of the costs, he refused. That's my major complaint - I wanted to understand how he got that number and he gave me a speech about how they have to pay things such as Workman's comp and such.

I understand that, but needed to see a parts/labor/overhead breakout in order to understand the charge. His refusal to give any detail about the costs made me distrust him. We will not use them again.

You guys are horrible. Next stop is the BBB for a formal complaint I will do whatever I can in my little circle of business owners, and friends to make sure you never service anyone I know again. Classic bait. and switch. How is it that only the owner can service customer complaints. I worked at a mom and pop once also, and know that is total BS. Doubt this helps
