We are the commercial/industrial heating and cooling specialists whom Jacksonville has trusted with their business needs since 1965. We also have an outstanding Construction Department, with an in-house sheet metal fabrication shop specializing in tenant build-out, new commercial construction and rapid design/build construction.
Services
We have a complete in-house fabrication and installation shop for all types of sheet metal and duct work, with a CNC high definition plasma cutting and sheet metal coil line which allows Thermodyne Services to effectively meet deadlines. We install Carrier Commercial air conditioning and are a CCN controls certified contractor.
Our Service and Maintenance Department is a core part of our business, not just a sideline like other construction-oriented competitors. We do service and maintenance for a large percentage of our construction and design/build customers because they have come to rely on our high-quality standards. We perform maintenance agreements on almost 300 businesses each month.
Our goal with our Construction Department is to complete every project in a safe and timely manner. We use in-house employees, which allows us to carefully time-manage our work force and meet challenging demands for each and every project. Thermodyne Services understands that for the general contractors we work with to be successful, they must use successful, team-oriented subcontractors.
We have our own in-house Specialty Metals Department that has the latest in automation and fabrication. Our plasma cutter can cut materials such as carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel and copper. Jimmy has over 12 years of specialty metal experience (using CNC cutting equipment) and over 25 years of metal fabrication experience.

Thermodyne worked on a project that I was commissioning. A very unprofessional John Wheeler was managing the project for Thermodyne. He was not only impossible to work with he treated his own staff as less than human. I've been in the craft for 36 years and all I can say to Thermodyne is that I would evaluate the Supervisor and make corrective action to advance in a quality direction.

I called this place for ac repair. The receptionist told me that they dont do residential. I said that Im on your website and it has whole section on Residential services, also that I got their phone number from Carrier to called to assist me. She didnt really know what to say, but took my number.? If your website is not accurate, your resources have you listed as a residential company and you deny both without a good explanation, this leaves me thinking that you are unorganized and unprepared.

This company is incredibly overpriced and has tons of hidden fees. They will charge you for their drive time (including to go to the store and buy parts if they come unprepared for a job) and additional labor for every "helper" that they bring with them for the job. They have had to come back multiple times to fix the problem as well. When I called to discuss my bill I had to call repeatedly to get to speak to the person who could answer my questions because they were never there.
