This is a two-part review. The 1st part if our experiences with the duct clean out. I would never do the clean-out again with Peters. First, there will be a thin layer of dust over EVERYTHING in your house once complete. We had to have this done while we were working and not home. I came home and was surprised to see the garage door left open, lights on throughout the house, several duct covers left off, and a thin layer of dust on EVERYTHING! Worst decision was deciding to do the cleanout.
They offered discounting the service, which I replied that was not my intention for making them aware of my frustrations, and that they could do what that thought was best. Received the bill and still was charged full price, just saying. The 2nd part is our experience in a full air and furnace replacement, which took place the day after the clean out.
They did GREAT! They were extremely professional and knew what they were doing. They placed rugs down to keep the dirt at a minimum and respected our house. I would HIGHLY recommend Peters for replacement or any AIR and HEAT work.

The best price in the area. Customer service is top-notch. With their shoe booties and drop cloths, they always clean up after themselves. Lance and his team found our issue and were guaranteed it would be fixed and running the same day. They did exactly that! So glad the heat pump is running as it should be. Thanks

Very helpful, a lifesaver on a crazy hot day. Easy to contact, stated realistic timelines, and excellent after hours communication by letting us know when he was headed our way. Our specialist Peter did an elaborate job. He answered all of our questions and gave us special advice about our alternatives. We have been very pleased with the service from Peters Heating & Air Conditioning. We are especially pleased with the professional skills and in-depth knowledge we have benefited from with Jason Gardner. Earlier this year we switched our heating and air service provider because we lost respect and trust in the manner in which they responded to our phone calls.
We were not happy with the need for return trips from their service reps for what seemed to be a single problem that was missed with the initial visit. We have not had this bad experience with Jason and hold an absolute confidence in him and the Peters Heating & Air Conditioning company.

What a great company to deal with! Called for an appointment and was scheduled first thing next morning. Chris S showed up on time, so nice, and fixed my problem within 1hour.not looking to sell more or replace anything like other companies I've used in the past. So happy! Highly recommend and would be the only service to call if needed again.

Will from Peters Heating and Air Conditioning just repaired by heating. I woke up to a cold house and called Peters right away. Will was here within a few hours and had my unit running again. He told me what he was doing and why it malfunctioned. I was happy with the service, the pro, and the cost. Thanks.

Chris was very thorough in his winter maintenance on our furnace yesterday. Even though the furnace is relatively new, we believe in regular maintenance. Chris was very professional and carefully explained everything that he did. We will ask for him when we schedule spring maintenance on the air conditioning.

Dear Mr. Teson (Steve – our service manager) When I see someone do an excellent job I like to make a point of paying a compliment. Although this compliment is delayed by several weeks, I want to express my appreciation to Nathan, one of your technicians. On October 13th, he came to address problems with our thermostat failing to ignite the furnace.
He called ahead, was very courteous and friendly. Upon arrival, he very methodically, but quickly, diagnosed the problem answering my questions as he did. When it was determined it was the thermostat he had listened to the fact that we never programmed the thermostat, and installed one we like very much. When it didn’t start the air conditioner, he went to the device, quickly addressed the problem, and it started.

My furnace motor died on me right before a big snow storm and forecasted single digit temperatures. I called right when the snow was starting and they had a guy show up at my door within 30 minutes. He was very professional the entire time and was an older guy who obviously seemed to know what he was doing. I ended up having to replace the motor. He had to drive somewhere to get the replacement but drove back and had the whole thing installed and running within 4.5 hours of the time when I had originally called in the request.
Price was reasonable (~$400 for my motor + labor) and they do not expect payment at time of service. They will send you a bill in the mail, and you can call to make payment arrangements. They take credit cards. I also called them a few years ago because my furnace was blowing cold air. A guy came out quickly then and replaced a copper coil for about $90 including service visit/labor. Very professional, quick and seem to know what they're doing.

By far the best hvac service company in Columbia. They are honest, quick and reliable. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Most companies just see you as another service ticket and dollar but these guys are all really nice and personable. I had other companies check out my unit and were quoting me outrageous prices and unnecessary fixes. Peters came and fixed the problem without doing unnecessary extras.

This is by far a huge hidden gem of a business. I asked a few friends about where I should go when my Central Air unit broke down and they recommended a more "well-known" albeit much more expensive place here in town. Thankfully, I did not listen to them. I want to commend on the work that Peters do. Megan is very knowledgeable and flexible - great first line of contact.
