Tim and Ben are dedicated and thorough professionals. When there was an issue with a part, they made sure to finish before they left in order for us to have heat. They were both considerate and took the time to explain what was happening with the boiler. The follow-up phone call came the next morning when Crystal called. She was very pleasant to speak with - she has great customer skills!

We just had a great experience working with Benoure Plumbing. Jeff did a great job planning the installation of our heat pumps around our schedule and Pat and Andrew (our technicians) were professional, friendly and knowledgeable.they were really nice to our dog too! We highly recommend Benoure Plumbing they are great to work with from start to finish.

I'm posting this for the customer, Claudine Roland, a neighbor who has no google account and doesn't want one (smart lady). Received a new washer/dryer setup for her condo, machines stack in a 30 wide closet like area with supply lines in a cutout into the wall on one side. Tight area to work in. Delivery people unable to obtain a leak free water supply connection due to age and wear of 40 years on existing dual supply valve. Ben Russel was dispatched to R&R said valve.

He showed up on schedule, removed the defective unit and replaced it with a current version. The new valve was apparently designed with compression fittings, and probably due to the age and condition of the service lines, he found a very small leak on test, so he re-did the install by sweating the valve onto the 2 service lines, for a secure and leak-free job.

He was quick, professional, conscientious, and polite. Total charges were quite acceptable, and the entire experience with respect to Benoure and Mr Russel was exceptional. Highly recommended! (The photos are workspace and original leaking valve)

Ben was here today and went through a whole punch list of items we needed done from fixing our hot water to changing out the guts of our toilet. He was super thorough, kind and knowledgeable. He even noticed a slow leak in our basement sink that he was able to proactively fix. We would definitely work with Ben and Benoure Plumbing & Heating again!

Steve couldn't have come at a better time to fix our Rinnai space heater, 7° this morning. He was knowledgeable, professional, efficient, able to fix our heater without costing a fortune. Our experience installing a new heat pump (hybrid) electric water heater with Benoure, which included capping the natural gas line and installing a mixing valve, condensate pump & expansion tank. Most competitive rate of the three quotes we received. Plus, upon installation, the tech was helpful in guiding us through maintenance of the unit. Overall a great experience!

Scheduled our furnace cleaning back on September 29th for today between 9-1 since it was their first availability. Called this am to see if they call when they are on their way to my house. Person named Crystal said we canceled our appointment the same day we made it?! We most definitely did not! We waited two month for this appointment, I took the day off, my husband and I both planned on it today.

All she could do was argue with me and then tell me she could book an appointment for mid January. Honestly, I don't even think she believed me! She offered 0 apologies. I would have given 1 star except I think the guys who have come over did a good job in the past. I found another company who could get me in much sooner and were WAY more professional!

We had Rob and Ryan over to replace our hot water heater, tank, and thermostats last week and they did an excellent job. Their work is high quality, professional, and organized. I was particularly impressed with how clearly they communicated how my new system works before leaving the job, including all of the safety info and how to keep my equipment running well into the future. Jeff and Crystal were easy to get ahold of to discuss the pricing and scheduling of this project beforehand. We are looking forward to having Benoure back to install AC in the spring!

Our heat isn't working in the middle of the winter. My mother who is the account holder who also lives downstairs is out of the country. Benoure said sorry we have to talk to her. Which I get, but it's the middle of winter? COME ON. UPDATES: Thursday (minus below zero night): Benoure won't talk to me because my mother didn't give permission. (As if I would be calling for service as a stranger). Friday (below freezing): Permission granted, but no one available to service Geothermal today, have to wait for availability on Monday.

They only have 2 technicians. Was given a number for someone else to service. A former employee of Benoure named Chris (He wasn't available until Tuesday). (Also have to wonder why he quit). Monday (finally warmed up): Called Benoure at 8:00 am. Still no Geothermal tech available. They said, "We only have 1 tech, didn't we give you a number for Chris?" Why Benoure? Why?

Why did you tell me Monday while I wait without heat all weekend, when you knew there would be no one Monday? Just thought you'd pass the buck to your former employee? HEAD EXPLODES. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED JUST STAY AWAY from BENOURE at ALL COSTS.

Beware! After the warranty runs out, customer service goes down the drain. Seems they are more concerned with up front business rather than actually providing good customer service for the long haul. Worst experience I've ever had. Won't do business with them again.

Do not use. I had a new furnace installed and come to find out they added things that were not needed. The wiring wasn't installed properly. I had an issue 6 months after it was installed and was told by their technician that I needed another $600 part. Called another plumber and he fixed the relief valve for $50. Just recently I am having more work done and have found other things that I was ripped off for. FIND ANOTHER PLUMBER.

Ripped off by Benoure. Called for service on my furnace damaged in basement flooding and was very clear that it had water damage. Tech came, partly dismantled furnace and left promising to get back to me with prices on parts or replacement. I paid $130 bill. No word for 3 weeks; whenever I called was told everyone was out. After leaving a message promising bad reviews if they didn't get back to me I miraculously got a call from one of the owners.

He informed me that their policy was to not service furnaces that had been under water. Funny no one told me that 3 weeks ago and they didn't have any problem taking my $$. The guy expressed NO regret about treating a customer this way, no apology, no offer to refund. ADVISE YOU AVOID BENOURE AT ALL COSTS. UPDATE: Benoure's response to 2 official complaints to BBB and VT Atty Gen has been to lie and accuse me of deception.

Rather than try to make things right with a customer they choose to attack. OK someone else gets my purchase of a new furnace and Benoure gets a well-deserved bad evaluation. ADVISE YOU TO AVOID BENOURE

Benoure Plumbing and heating has consistently demonstrated not only superb expertise and service, but with genuine care. I have had them do multiple jobs for me both commercially and residentially and each time they have exceeded my expectations. Built a new home in Milton. Benoure was, by far, the most professional contractor on the job. Every phase of the job from design to final billing was handled promptly and fairly. I can't say enough especially given the stark contrast to other subs. I highly recommend them.

We recently worked with Benoure to replace our garbage disposal and install a new toilet in our home. Several years ago, they replaced my furnace. They are busy, so it takes some patience to get things scheduled. However, we found this was totally offset by the service they provide. The plumbers that come to the house are professional and efficient. They do excellent work that we trust. I highly recommend them.

Couldn't buy a return phone call from a Benoure estimator - and I gave them two chances over a six-month period. And I was planning to put central heat in a new house. Tried once. No response. Tried again six months later. No response. They need to return their calls if they want any business. Apparently they are fat and happy. Imagine, if they won't call back to sell a multi-thousand-dollar heating system ($$,$$$), what will happen on a minus-20 Vermont winter night when I have no heat and call them for help. I'll bring my business elsewhere, thank you very much.

We chose Benoure because the former owners of our home used them and also they came recommended by a real estate agent. We've spent the last 2 summers (and hundreds of dollars) trying to get our air-conditioning units fixed as they seem to be leaking and have needed multiple re-fills of refrigerant each season. During Benoure's last visit to our house (at least the 4th or 5th just for our air-conditioning), they finally located the leak, but said they couldn't fix it that day because it was raining (fair enough.apparently having water in your system is not good).

But then they couldn't get us back on the schedule for 3 weeks. Of course, our system broke again during that time frame (all of the refrigerant leaked out) and turns out the tech that located the leak didn't think to refill our system with refrigerant. My bad here: I should have inquired. Nevertheless, when I called to see if they could at least swing by and give us some refrigerant they said they had no availability before my next scheduled appointment, which was 2 weeks away.

I was so frustrated that I got a recommendation from a friend's father who is in building and construction. The company he suggested came to our house 2 days later, located the leak immediately, had the system fixed and up and running 100% by the third day (Friday) and primed the upstairs system to be checked the following week. They came back on Monday to check our upstairs system, located the leak and fixed it all in the same day.

Bottom line: I've been pushing Benoure's to fix our system for 2 summers now and another company came and solved all of our problems in a total of 3 work days--and were pleasant about the entire process (the scheduler at Benoure's is just rude and unhelpful).

I called Benoure as I had no heat on my main floor. Long story short, the thermostat had been changed from heat to cool. Apparently a house guest had changed it and I did not catch it. The technician fixed the issue 5 within minutes but then charged me for one hours labor. ($125.00) I can see that this is company policy, but did not appreciate that they wanted to charge me for a whole hour, when I was told that there was a technician in the area.

The only reason that I went with Benoure was that they had installed the zone valves, which I thought to be the issue, and knew that they were under warranty. Next time, not only will I check the thermostat more closely (dumb move) but I will also call a company with better rates, as if I would like to work with a company that has fair rates for the work performed. I already felt bad enough missing the setting on the thermostat, but I had to pay someone $125.00 to tell me that.

Several folks recommended Benoure to us, but they really let us down. The case against Benoure, as I see it: - It took 4 visits to fix resolve our original complaint ("How come there's no hot water in the tub? We have hot water everywhere else in the house!"); - they were over an hour late for visit #3 because they were trying to find the necessary part somewhere in town that morning (which they'd previously told us that they would special order. and they didn't even call the day before to say something like "it isn't it yet"); - they broke our showerhead while fixing the drain in the tub (and although we didn't get charged for parts on that, it does appear that we got charged for time/labor); - every quote we got seemed to be at least 1/2 of what we would eventually get charged for (the only exception being the most expensive bill for the new hot water holding tank); - they charged a service fee for visit #1 (what turned into the diagnostic visit) which I might have been OK with if it was otherwise wrapped up into the $2200 hot water holding tank installation (but doesn't appear to have been).

We wound up feeling pretty dissatisfied with Benoure. They took a long time to resolve our problem and it wound up costing much more than what we had discussed. What's worst is that we seemed to get different answers about our problem, and thus different recommendations about how to resolve it--and because of how long everything took, we wound up feeling pressured into going with a more-expensive-than-budgeted solution just because we were desperate to get our hot water back--but this was only AFTER they had failed to get the part that they had originally claimed would solve the problem (for a fraction of the cost). Just a bad experience the whole way 'round.
