I'm very disappointed in the professionalism and consideration of this company. I needed my air condition unit to be lifted off the ground. They came and worked on my unit for 7 hours without me a) knowing b) being home and c) before they even gave me an estimate. No surprise then to hear I was shocked when I opened the bill for almost $900! For two dinky little pieces of metal that aren't even attached to the ground, simply resting on it.
What is the stability of that? They claimed they worked for 7 hours on this! I know they normally work on commercial buildings, but if you ever consider them for a personal job, DONT. When we called to express our disagreement in the bill, there was no sympathy or acceptance that they didn't even give us an estimate. So, what if they charged us $10,000? Was I suppose to pay for that?!
It makes no sense and it's simply zero ownership in their error and disrespect to their customer. The only reason I gave it two stars is because it was done within 2 days of me reaching out. However, that doesn't make up for the bad taste in my mouth of their process of communicating and billing their customer. Never again. Lesson learned.

Expect to pay $85 an hour plus a travel fee for an estimate only (no actual repair work done). In the 25 years I've been in business, I've never had anyone charge me for an estimate. Then expect to get dragged into to small claims court when you express that it doesn't seem ethical to be charged for said estimate. I learned a valuable lesson by contacting this greedy company. Do yourself a favor and call someone else.

We are so happy and satisfied with the service provided by US Mechanical. They service our building with numerous types of HVAC equipment, including quite a few that are old and complicated. Their technicians are courteous and do not give up till they have something solved. We feel like they really do value us as a customer and that they are not satisfied till we are satisfied. And we are!
