Every plumber is busy these days, but a return call to say they have no openings would have been nice. Update #1: Re: response. Having moved to the area last October and working to find tradespeople, I fully appreciate how busy everyone has been and I am always grateful when each professional adds us to their queue. The service we have received from everyone has been top-notch.
We have not had occasion to have an emergency that required immediate service, but I feel confident that we would find someone because of the dedication shown. You are correct that we would have been a new customer, so I make zero judgment on the quality of your work. I expect it is at the same high-level as everyone else. I am simply noting the lack of response.
When I called, the individual took my information and noted that you are indeed very busy but she would check to see if you had room on the schedule and would get back to me. That didn't happen. I expect it's due to the volume of calls received. I personally believe it may be in everyone's best interests if you state you can't take new customers at this time.
I have encountered this with other tradespeople and I appreciate their honesty. I know there is a good comradery among professionals and we are often directed to others who might be able to help. Anyone who has made it this far: I am adjusting upwards to 3.and I hope new customers still reach out to your company.

05/06/22 Al & Patrick came to help us disconnect a couple propane appliances. They arrived on time, were great listeners and did an excellent job quickly & efficiently. This service was easy to schedule, thanks again, Heather! 06/01/21 Mary is an awesome plumber! Helped us fix a leak quickly. Another one of their plumbers helped us fix a dripping shower. Trombly has been responsive, timely and professional. Forget the troll reviews, excellent service.

Trombly's just installed a new mobile home furnace in a rental property I have and did an all around excellent job. From being responsive to emails, providing a detailed estimate with an "all in" maximum price, and squeezing me into their schedule even though they were very busy, I couldn't have asked for more. With how busy it's been across all trades, it's all too easy to let service suffer. not the case here. Definitely hope to work with them again in the future.

Asked to schedule a sink hook up and was given a tentative date a week later. When the day came and went I reached out and was told they attempted to squeeze me into a full schedule but it was never a guarantee. Asked to schedule a day to have it done 4 weeks out, the day came and went. I attempted to reach out only to be blatantly ignored through my phone number, called from my husband's phone they answered right away but were very rude insisting they never guaranteed service though I asked both times to schedule a guaranteed service regardless of how far out. Ended up calling another plumber a town over and they were WONDERFUL came promptly to check it out and had it finished within a month.
Not sure what the issue was here, but after the first attempt any contact with them was just difficult and clearly they were annoyed with me? I asked if I could put a deposit down, etc I just wanted good customer service and clear communication.

When I had a plumbing emergency on a weekend, I got the after hours operator and was informed they do not take new customers after hours. I was greatly disappointed as I try to support local businesses as often as I can. With no water in the house due to a substantial leak, I have to say the customer service was weak. Thankfully another service from the next town over came and had things repaired quickly and couteously.

We have had a nightmare of building our house and Heather and Trombleys have been absolutely amazing. What a breath of fresh air. She has gone above and beyond to help and has fit us in between other jobs to expedite the work we needed done, as a result of another contractor causing issues (Gould's well) I would recommend Trombleys 100%! They were so great when our hot water heater crashed right before the holiday. They did everything they could to work us in before Christmas and they made sure we had hot water again despite the challenges that arose from other utility suppliers. Thank you Trombly's plumbing and heating for being our Christmas Miracle!

I called 4 plumbers in my area of St Johnsbury/Concord Vermont. Got a call from one 4-5 days later. I walked into Trombly and talked to Heather at the desk. Right away she was helpful. Al came twice after I found the part for my sink. He was professional and on time and fixed my sink. I was very happy it got done in a timely manner. Normandie Lee

Stay away from this plumber for any job. Very unprofessional. We had them fix the sewer return at our property and come to find out they left a rotted out cast iron pipe with a 2" hole in it, a very obvious over-sight, and right next to the work they did complete. In order to start the job they had to spend over $2000 on a professional cleaner (sewer return was leaking), which we completed at their direction.
They chased us for final payment a matter of days after the work was completed. We paid them right away. Finally, when we discovered the work was not completed, we gave them ample opportunity to step in and correct the problem. That did not happen. They disappeared. It took us weeks and weeks to get a simple communication back and try and schedule a time for them to come meet us to discuss this glaring problem.
We called and left message after message, only to receive an email saying: No, we did the work but if you want us to come you can book us on an emergency rate basis or on a regular basis over a month out. They won't even come meet us face-to-face or even on the phone! "Email is best since I am in and out of the office." Highly unprofessional (and maybe a few other words). We are now left with the problem to fix with some other plumber. I guess.they won't return our calls. Stay away from Trombley.
