I hired Dring on recommendation from my most shrewd and thrifty friend who has used this company for decades. Their communication has been stellar from start to finish, and they are extremely professional, both on the phone and in person. In the call center, I have interacted with Megan, Denzel, and Jasmine, all wonderfully helpful. The team on the ground was Dustin, Joel, Quentin, and Christian, who all showed up at the door with alacrity and a focus on customer service and communication. Joel was able to locate and deliver materials for the job almost 2 weeks earlier than promised, and though the price of the job was more than I was hoping for (everything is expensive rn), it was well worth it for the quality of service and care I received!

Christian and Quentin worked quick, were respectful of the space, and did good work (from what I can tell!) The air flow in the house has totally transformed, and I can't wait to live in my new house! Thank you, folks at Dring!

Dring's customer service team is super friendly and very helpful. I have never encountered anyone on the phone or in-person with a bad or off putting attitude. They have always been really good about sending reminders of upcoming appts and do so with a person to person phone call in addition to a text. I like that they provide that personal touch to their service.

I don't feel like a number I feel like a cared about customer. I am kept informed as to the arrival of the technician providing service. Abraham was the tech that visited my home recently and he was awesome. Great attitude, very professional was able to and willing to answer all of my questions. I will ask for him for future service and maintenance requests. I highly recommend Dring!

There is an amazing level of obvious competence in both Chris and Dustin. A thorough examination of relevant issues, personable and professional in every area of concern. there is no one else who has ever compared. When I get to heaven the temperature will cool in the presence of Jesus, until then, Dring will take care of our air conditioning. Add Joe's name to this fine list of quality people.

Our Service Technician's name was Coy and like our previous experiences with DRING A/C he arrived on time as promised. Coy completed our Spring Checkup and also tested the UV Bulb which our thermostat showed as needing replacement. He explained his findings and we discussed next steps. Professional, Reliable and Trustworthy is how I would describe DRING A/C. I've used Dring for 12+ year and recommend them highly!

Alfredo is my go to technician I trust him and he knows what he is doing. My A/C units were not keeping up and they are new so he cleaned out the drains as there is always a lot of goop in there this way my units will stay up with the weather conditions and stay cold rather than going off. I was misquoted a service fee of $93 to see what was wrong with my blower motor. However, when the technician, Coby Beam, came out he charged me $113.95. When I called the office all they could was apologized for being misquoted the service fee. I told them to take my number and email out of their database. I don't want them ever coming or calling my house again. Mr. Beam stated to replace my blower motor which is under the manufacturer warranty would be $969.05 for an hour job.

That is highway robbery. I feel like being taken advantage of because I am a woman. I had to tell him to put a mask on before entering my home. He walked in my house and put the shoes' coverings on. Only good thing I have to say about Mr. Beam that he was nice and diagnosed the issue quickly. I am giving 3 stars for the misquoted service fee and and extremely high price to repair my unit.

Alfredo Ramos was the service technician that came to my home. He was very professional, very knowledgeable and a very nice person. He was here for the yearly inspection of my unit. He knew exactly what to do. He noticed that I had a few issues going on with my unit. He took his time and show me the problems he had found. Alfredo took his time and sat with me and went over a few different options. If there was an option for 10 Stars he would have gotten that from me. Thank you Alfredo.

Great thorough duct cleaning and repair service! Dring came out to provide an estimate on air duct cleaning. They were incredibly through and provided context and answered questions throughout the inspection. Keith, the inspector also was kind enough to change one of my filters that was long overdue. While the estimates they provided were not cheap, they appeared thorough. Dring was also willing to work with us to add options we wanted or remove things we didn't. Updated 1/17 - When the guys came out to do the work, the crew was incredibly nice, respectful, considerate, and responsive.

I had them do deep cleaning, brushing / vacuuming, and sealing on all the vents plus an install of a new plenum into my upstairs furnace to replace some incredibly shoddy work done by a certain letter#number AC company that was rigged up prior to me moving in the house. When the crew arrived, they were right on time, they asked before they did things or if they could touch or move things.

Plus the work they did seemed really thorough, and if they had questions they always stopped to ask me throughout (without being obtrusive or imposing). When complete, they showed images of the work when they done. The one call-out for this group was that I felt we missed an end-of work walk through for all the rooms. The pictures were great, but if we had done the full walk through I feel we may have caught the two spots where they missed cleaning up / vacuuming up two clear spots of debris (one being a spot they forgot to grab their drop cloth).

Neither was anything major and neither was enough to drop the rating below 5 stars. All that said, I'd recommend this company. It can be a little bit on the higher price side, but the work seemed worth it!

Phenomenal service from A-Z! Our AC/heat went out on a cold winter day, we called late after hours and a service technician by the name of Sanchez came out. Sanchez not only figured out the issue, he took his time explaining the logistics of his service and options moving forward to help prevent the system from going out again. "Giving Dring a ring was the best thing!" Sanchez is a vital asset to the company and would recommend him to come out every time! Thanks Dring, you did your thing!

The first people who cleaned the ducts, did not leave the house in a tidy state. I called and voiced my displeasure at this. The situation was dealt with immediately and most importantly, appropriately. The company sent out a new technician to ensure that the cleaning was done properly and speak with me personally about my concerns. I was assured that the cleaning had indeed been done properly. The manner in which the complaint was dealt with was outstanding. Due to this, I am happy to give 5 stars.

Dustin is ok but. Like all other company reps. He looked at the attic. We talked about it and he said I will email you. However one company set down and filed out a quote that spelled out exactly what we discussed with a few options with prices for each and handed it to me. He got the job.

Have been using DRING as a member for a short time. I've had no issues this far. They perform checks and are very courteous and professional. On time and friendly to talk to. Today's technician, Dustin, was more than happy to explain what he's doing, find out what the status of my membership is and asked me if I have had any specific issues that he should look at. Satisfied with their work thus far and would recommend giving them a try for your A/C needs.

Dring AC & Heating has been awesome from the getgo. Originally reached out to them to clean our duct system. They were very professional and knowledgeable. Customer Service is exemplary. We signed a contract to have them come out quarerly to inspect and maintain our hvac. Both technicians, Justin and Dustin, were excellent and very knowledgeable. We will be replacing our system after the first of the year and we will definitely use Dring AC and Heating for installation.

Dring installed our HVAC system and Khadir came out today to do a routine maintenance check and make sure we were informed on how to use our heat pump this winter efficiently. He laid out everything for us, checked and made sure the unit was clean, was friendly and respectful of our property. Great company.

Alfredo was awesome! We're new homeowners and didn't know much of what we were doing. We knew there was a problem with the AC that the one year warranty wouldn't cover (Ie. They kept putting off replacing things until critical failure) so it was incredibly refreshing when Alfredo showed up and presented all the options and gave us enough information to understand this new process. I genuinely appreciate his customer service and highly respect his knowledge base. I highly recommend him.

Called Dring at 10am on Friday and quickly needed assistance. I was headed into a weekend with no AC in my house. Dring was able to provide same day service. Alfredo came to my house at 6pm. He was extremely professional and took his time to properly diagnose the problem even with it being late on a Friday. Additionally, a reasonably priced repair option was provided. I highly recommend using this company and ask for Alfredo.

Update: After speaking to Dring and getting a resolution, I am increasing their grade to 3.5 stars. See update below. Our Trane air conditioner stopped working and we needed a tune-up on the other 2 units. We looked for referrals from our neighborhood on NextDoor and Dring was recommended. I called and they set an appointment for the next day. The technician Dustin showed up on time.

He brought out some equipment and did some testing. During the testing he talked about the maintenance agreement which was $9.99/month. He was pleasant and professional. Dustin said the capacitor was out but he had it on the truck to change it. I went back outside a little while later. He said he had sprayed off the other A/C units and it looks like the actual problem was the compressor.

I said, so if it's not the capacitor then just put my own part back on. He said he could not remove the capacitor and put mine back on, "company policy". I didn't understand why he couldn't just switch it back out. The capacitor was about $500. I asked the price of a new compressor - $2900, but he said it would only be guaranteed for the rest of the life of the warranty of my unit.

A new outside condenser unit would be $7800 for 16 SEER. Dustin said he checked and they had the American Standard unit in stock. He said Trane and American Standard were sister companies and basically the same unit. They could install it the following day. After he left I told husband I wanted to check with other companies. The capacitor situation left a bad taste in my mouth.

I went to the TRANE website and scheduled with 3 companies to come out and take a look. On the website I found that Dring is not a TRANE dealer, they are an American Standard Dealer. Each of the 3 TRANE dealer companies came out for a quote and they had the improved model of my unit in stock, the XR16. All the Trane quotes were much less than Dring. UPDATE: I decided to use a different company, a Trane dealer, to install my new condenser unit.

I called Dring and spoke with the service manager about the "policy" of not putting my own capacitor back on after it was found that the compressor was the problem. We had a detailed discussion in which the manager was professional and listened. I asked for a refund of that part since I did not need it with the new condenser that was installed. He agreed to refund the amount if I returned the capacitor.

When I went to the office to return the capacitor, I was impressed with how friendly and helpful the office staff were. The service manager was not there, but Jackie and everyone else I spoke to were very pleasant and treated me respectfully. Overall, my experience with the staff that work for Dring was very good. The initial interaction regarding the capacitor and their pricing made their score low.

This is an easily fixable situation for this company: 1) switch back the capacitor if that is not the problem and the client requests it. This is the ethical thing to do in this situation. 2) have more competitive pricing with other A/C installation companies.

On 6-15-21 we called American Home Shield (AHS) as we needed an AC repair. They sent a work order over to Dring Air Conditioning and Heating. Dring scheduled us for 6-21-21 between 8am and 12pm. By 12:20pm we had not heard from them. I called, they said it was changed to arrive between 2pm and 6pm. At 5:30 pm they sent a text that reads, "We regret to inform you that your appointment and information has been sent back to AHS to reschedule with a different vendor as we are not able to provide a technician for warranty service" I called them, they said they sent back all their AHS service requests.

They told me to wait an hour and call back AHS. I waited the hour, called back AHS, and AHS said that Dring had not released the appointment, so they could not schedule me with an new service provider. I called back Dring, and of course there was no answer. I got the answering service, and asked for someone to give me back a call. They did not give me a call.

The next morning called AHS and they said the appointment still had not been released by Dring. I called Dring, they checked, and indeed they had not released the appointment. Consumer beware! It is quite hot in Texas, and such a bad thing for Dring to hang onto my appointment for 6 days, then another extra day because they did not release the appointment.

I would highly recommend this Dring Air Conditioning and Heating. Our service provider Justin B was amazing! He was patient and answered all of our service and AC questions. He went the extra mile to analyze past repairs completed by other companies and provided a thorough review of how the unit should look and how the repairs would benefit our home in the future. Justin went even further and offered to follow up with the installation crew that would complete our next day service. This company is lucky to have a technician like Justin!

I have been a customer for many years with a service contract for my AC and heat. AC unit poured water into kitchen floor Friday AM. Scheduled appointment for Friday PM. Tech called to locate entry and was rude on the phone "So are you going to open the door for me or what?!" He said this as he was parking his van. Once inside tech said it was a clog in the drain line. Tech did bare minimum to attempt to unclog.

Left without testing system. Clearly the tech did not want to do the service call and just wanted to leave and go home. Once AC had been running for 20 minutes more water entered the kitchen. Called tech back who said broken drain pan and leaking coil so I would need to replace the AC system. He would provide a quote for several thousand $ the following week so expect several days without AC.

As I was not confident that the system needed to be replace and as Dring does not work on the weekend (contrary to what their website says) I called another company who unclogged the drain line and remained to make sure system was performing. Drain pan is not cracked and system has been cooling without issue for one week. They also replaced the faulty float switch which Dring was unable to replace as they didn't bring one even though it was noted from last service that it needed to be replaced and I requested it be replaced when booking appointment.

They've been No-Shows twice in a row for simple AC service on our three AC units. They never called to let us know of delay/issue. And twice I've rescheduled my day to be available for them. We were Dring customers for many years and Am so disappointed in the change in its quality of service. We will be moving to look for a new company that conducts itself professionally.

I called to request a review of the charges to replace a 14" ARD power damper for which the technician spent less than 1.5 hours (after paying for an previous initial truck roll to diagnose the problem). When I inquired as to why the charge was so high ($811) for a part costing well under $150, and less than two hours of work, I was told by the service manager. "That's what your wife agreed to and she should have known better and talked to you then first".

There was no attempt or opportunity to explain the charges and if I was mistaken which at least would have been professional. You should decide for yourself if you wish to do business with a company such as this, I not recommend using them

My heat went out on a chilly afternoon, so I called Dring and they sent someone right over. I live in an old house, with an old heating unit, and almost before he saw my heater, the repairman began telling me I'd have to replace it. That's pretty much all he said for the next hour or so. At one point, even after I'd told him I'd need to talk to my husband about it, he got on the phone to a salesman at his company to schedule someone to come out the next day to replace my furnace.

I realize he could have been right about the furnace needing to be replaced, but I hate such pushy sales tactics. So I'm getting a second opinion and, if I need a new furnace, going with someone else.
