Fairview Heating and Air Conditioning has been servicing my furnace for many years and replaced the furnace about eight years ago. Their technicians are expert. I would not recommend anyone else. Jerry was professional all the way. He represents Fairview HVAC very well. I will continue to use Fairview for all my HVAC maintenance. Yes. I highly recommend Fairview.

The gentleman who came out was knowledgeable. I did not like the wait time for someone to come out (a week), but this could be a seasonal thing. Quickly it was established that the problem was in the breaker box, not the AC unit. It would have been nice if, as Fairview did not do electrical, they could do a referral to a trusted electrician.

Fairview HVAC has serviced my commercial building for several years. Now I have a lot of HVAC units that need serviced so one would think this is a great opportunity for a local HVAC company. Not for Fairview Heating and Air-conditioning. Here is what happened; I started to notice some quality issues with the provided service and wanted to share it with the owner, Robert as constructive feedback.
Since he is not on sight overseeing his employee's, (Mind you these were small items that I took care of myself. After his technician gave the system an all good bill of health.) Robert's (Owner) response to me was; You won't have to worry about the quality of workmanship anymore, since we won't be servicing your property anymore.
That is not the kind of company I want to deal with. I would expect a caring owner to respond saying; Sorry about the issues, spoke to everyone involved and we will make it better. Thanks for the feedback. Anyway Robert, good luck to you and this business. Note; I gave him three stars only because I'm a nice guy. Probably should have been two stars.

My HVAC system is 15 years old and has never been inspected or serviced since installation. With a very cold winter we have been running the Heater frequently. I had a Fairview technician inspect the entire system including the ducts. He showed up on time, did a thorough inspection and noted a couple of minor deficiencies that he suggested did not need immediate attention. The technician was clearly experienced and provided us a courteous and informative assessment.

I chose Fairview since it is a local business for replacement of my HVAC system in 2019. They were not the cheapest bid, but they used equipment made in the USA and union labor. Those things are important to me so I was willing to pay more. I also paid for a 10 year parts and labor agreement and after the first year, paid $198 for twice-yearly maintenance.
That maintenance was supposed to include two filters for my system but from the first service, they never could supply and change one of the filters because they didn't stock that size. I called the main number to complain to the owner Robert after this happened twice and I left him a VM but he didn't even have the courtesy and professionalism to return my call.
After I had another company perform the regular maintenance, they pointed out some issues from the installation that I tried to bring to Fairview's attention. They never even called me back about it. To me, the actions show a level of cowardice in refusing to engage with my very real concerns. I would not use this company again as they have revealed themselves to not be customer-oriented. Two thumbs down.

The crew that came to install our HVAC was very professional and able to respond all our questions. They did all required tests. They only left after explaining to us how to work with the thermostat. Avoid or at least get a second opinion before trusting their team. Called because AC was not cooling. $89 visit fee. etc etc. The thing was I don't mind paying the visit fee if your going to come and tell me what's wrong and either you or someone else can fix it. Said it needed capacitor hard start kit, unit is 20 years old. That's strange because house is only 15 years old.
He did not bother to look at inside unit, installed hard start kit and and left with $485 check. AC was not working. I asked them to send someone who knows what he is doing and check the inside unit. We went back and forth all day yesterday. Finally they said they cant come, and I need to hire someone else. Refunded most the money minus $89 for the visit. That's good Called a smaller independent smaller independent company today, trouble shoot straight to the inside unit blower motor, and within 1 hour, we have AC again. You cant charge and not trouble shoot or bother to look, and AC is much needed in this area. I'm happy they refunded and I found another willing person.

Fairview did a great job of removing and replacing our heating and A/C unit. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Their employee named Chase, did an exceptional job in completely the task on his own during the second day of our job. His level of skill and customer service are exceptional. Fairview is lucky to have him! Once the job was complete, he left our house and outside completely clean and immaculate.

My AC went out, very warm in home. I called to ask for the earliest appt day/time and they were able to fit me in same day. So thankful! Bart arrived on time and was so pleasant and professional. He explained everything very thoroughly and was able to repair the unit same day. I would highly recommend this company (you'd be lucky to have Bart too!), they are honest, professional and do a great job.

We are going through an unpleasant situation with our air conditioning, of course heading into one of the hottest weekends of the year so far. And even though our unit is under warranty the original service company wouldn't do nothing for us accept to have us wait 14 days for the next available appointment. We decided to seek out a secondary option and came by Fairview heating and air-conditioning.
Not only were they able to fit us in for a next day appointment, we were surprised when later that day we received a phone call stating they were in the area, and their day wrapped up early. Would you like me to swing by? YES! Our service man Grant Piccone promptly arrived within 10 minutes as he promised my husband, quickly evaluated our outdoor AC unit and discovered we had a bad compressor. knowing that we certainly needed the larger fix for our indoor unit, and we were seeking a temporary fix to get us through the next two weeks.
Grant offered to replace our compressor with a better quality one, and added Freon. He was knowledgeable, honest, did not price gouge us and was super efficient in the work. Had us in cool air within a half hour! The only reason we are not using Fairview heating and air-conditioning for the larger service is the unit is still under warranty with the first company.
So long story short of it if given the choice we would absolutely be calling Fairview heating and air conditioning again. Thank you Grant, not only did you save the day and get us back in the cool air, he probably saved a lot of 'uncomfortable conversation around our household as well LOL

This company has been fantastic. From the owner who comes out himself to do the estimating and bidding to the crew who do the installation and maintenance and the office staff who jump through hoops to help out when I can't get signed into my thermostat app and get the AC turned on. Jessica is awesome, but so has been the rest of the office staff and let's face it, they are who make or break it when we call in an emergency.
These guys get out fast even in extreme weather when they are up to their rear ends in alligators trying to keep us all happy. The system they sold us has incredible filtration and germ killing functions, which have limited our viral infections and all but eliminated my son's asthma attacks. No one in this family has caught another's viral infection since installing this system and the littlest has yet to have a sever asthma attack since we bought it. You have to check these guys out.

Bought a complete HVAC system from them last year for $17,000 but I've never been impressed with their service. It starts at the top with the owner Robert. I guess 30 years in business and he doesn't really need any more customers. The twice yearly service is $200 per year after the first year but they called me up for the $200 8 months after the system was installed.
I told Barbara I would pay them at the 12 month mark but not before since the first year is included with $17K system. When the tech showed up in the spring he didn't have the correct size filter for my system and he said they were out of them. Since replacing filters is so important to maintenance you would think they would have them for their service calls.
I replace them every 3 months myself, but when you are paying for service, they should supply at least when they come out. A few weeks ago, I set up the fall appointment for a specific time and date with Barbara. Since I deal with all of the interactions from the beginning starting with installation and service, I had told Barbara at the time (August, 2019) to use my mobile number as the main contact. Yesterday--out of the blue--the office called my wife on her number to see if they could come out this morning instead.
My wife asked me if I was available in the morning for their service call and I said yes. After waiting all morning, I called the office to ask where the tech was. Jessica --who is the person who called my wife yesterday to reschedule--answered the phone and said she had no record of service today after my wife spoke to her twice yesterday. Before I replaced my HVAC system in 2019, I had been using Certified Heating and Air in Concord with a service contract and was very impressed with their service.
All of the people at Certified were very professional and friendly, from the office staff to the techs. I wish I had given them the new installation job since they seem to value their customers more than Fairview does. I specifically paid more to Fairview because I wanted a longer warranty on parts and service and wanted to support an East County business that used Union labor, but customer service is not a strong point for Fairview, apparently.

They replaced an a/c & furnace unit on the roof and another a/c furnace split system, on a house we were buying. Several years ago. We have had a few minor issues that they responded to over the years. Just before this major heat wave both A/c units went out at the same time. Robert came out and found both capacitors (Chinese made) had gone out and he replaced them with USA made ones.
So he had one a/c unit up and running (it serviced the front living area). The roof unit (which services the bedroom area) had a factory wiring issue which he also fixed. But the coils had a leak. Had to be ordered, with Covid - manufacturing shut downs then reopening with restrictions. Part could take up to 2 months. While here he also checked the furnace and found a bad part, that also had to be ordered.
And the ducting in the ceiling had a hole in it (due to another non related service co's tech.). All the parts that had to be ordered were under warranty. He worked with the companies to insure that they were covered and ordered. Lo and behold the coil came in quickly The workman came out the very next day, during the beginning of the heat wave, got up on the hot roof and replaced it.
This companies quick, professional and beyond expectations service was exceptional. As a side note my daughter had them fix her a/c the month before and was very satisfied also. They are fantastic people to deal with.

Worst service ever. This is what will happen. They will sell you a multiple thousand dollar HVAC system. They will not explain maintenance. They will delay installation. You will ask them repeatedly to call you because your husband cannot take calls at work yet they'll continue to call him. Fast forward 3 years after we have been replacing our filters and periodically cleaning our unit but within a 48 hour period your AC will almost entirely stop cooling your home. You'll call and ask if they can come out and if there's a charge since its warrantied and they will tell you no and send someone out.
When the technician arrives he will tell you your filter needs to be changed which we knew but had been waiting for the shipment. However he won't have a filter for your unit. Then he will proceed to tell you there's nothing he can do because the unit is dirty and he can clean it another time for $235 or you can do it yourself. We did as we have done many times previously but we have a husky and she's shedding its just life.
Then he will blame the construction of your home as a cause. Then he will tell you there's a $89 charge for him coming out and DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. He'll tell you to call the office for a filter but if you don't pay the $89 they won't give you one. Then you'll call the office 6 times asking about a filter which they'll tell you they will call you back soon when they check if it's in stock.
By this time it will be 90 degrees in your home with a 3 year old unit that you just thoroughly cleaned. You'll call back over and over yet they'll never get back to you. What they will do is leave a voicemail WITH YOUR HUSBAND telling you to call the manufacturer and maybe they can come out. By the time he gets that message since it should have gone to me, the manufacturer will be closed and you just keep getting the AC company answering service who keeps sending messages to them but they never respond. BUYER BEWARE.THAT'S WHAT YOU HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO. Funny because I would lose my job if I treated clients in such a way. Use someone else, that is my one and only suggestion.

I generally don't write reviews but I attempted to tell the the company directly and did not get an inspiring response from them. I called to have my home serviced for water leaking from my unit and air not blowing cold. This is a great company from start to finish. From the receptionist to the technician. I've used them a couple times, and both times they have fixed my problem. They are reasonable, and don't try to oversell. Luckily, my repairs have been minor repairs, and hopefully it stays that way. Grant was a great tech. He was on time and professional and got the job done. Highly recommend them!

We have had Fairview Heating and Air service our HVAC needs for 7 years. They replaced worn parts on our 20 y.o. system, but did not encourage spending for a new one until it was necessary last year. The technicians are first class and know their business and can explain what needs to be done. Tim was our service tech this time, and as all others, is professional in every way. We would recommend their work to anyone.

I recently installed two new NEST 3rd Gen thermostats on my 2 zone HVAC system at home. After install my system went haywire and I couldn't find a solution. I contacted Fairview as they are a local NEST Pro. Robert promptly responded even though it was late on a weekend via email. Through pictures I sent he was able to guide me on how to correct the issue.
Most companies would have sent out a tech and charged for such an easy fix. I was pleasantly surprised that Robert was willing to take his time to help and not charge. Thanks Fairview!

Very unprofessional. They sold me a whole house fan in 2017; upwards of $3000+ which broke and they refuse the service. House fan system broke shortly after the 1 year warranty period of course. In April 2018 they sent a repair tech (for fee) - tech stated both switch and fan motor need to be replaced (parts still under warranty covered). After a run-around they still will not come out to repair, as owner Robert states he cannot get a hold of the OEM/fancompany. Robert's company RECOMMENDED this unit and now will not stand behind it, had left me on my own, telling me to find someone else.
Anyone can sell product, their service after the sale is terrible; unreturned calls, unknowledgeable techs, poor ownership. Avoid Fairview at all costs.there are many other options out there.

Fairview is one of only. a few local AMANA / GOODMAN Certified warranty repair company's. The president is super responsive had a small Hiccup. with my part he was quick to step in and get it handled. The service technician was knowledgeable was able to ascertain my problem quickly and was able to fix my. System. So kudos to them.
