GF Refrigeration & Heating

For over a year and a half I have used GF Heating and Cooling services to heat my home. They have always been paid on time as I have automatic payments set up. I randomly receive a collection notice stating that I owe them for a payment. It is impossible that the payment would not be pulled from my account as the funds are plentifully available. Rather than calling me, they told me they did not have a phone number on file. Also, not my fault or problem that whoever took my info down did not put a phone number.

The lady on the phone was extremely rude, sarcastic and short when I tried to ask her why she would send a payment to collection when looking at my year and a half of on time payments. Taking my business elsewhere. I would not use this company.

Called in an order a week ahead. The day it was supposed to be delivered Waited till 2pm decided to call them to see when the arrival would be. Said it wouldn't be there till later tonight did some errands came back an hour and a half later and they arrived early. I was empty, called back and ask them why they came earlier than specified. They would not return to fill my tank even though I properly and thoroughly asked ahead of time.

They said they didn't have a callback number but they didn't ask me for a callback number when I requested an arrival time on my day off to do errands. Inexperienced and unprofessional. I would not recommend this business to anyone and will be telling everyone I know not to shop there. Good luck.

We had ac installed last June during a very hot week. The men had to spend hours in the attic. They were very considerate, neat, accommodating. We ve had the same serviceman do our burner maintenance for 17 years. Thank you all! Services: Heating system maintenance, Install AC

Great people, they are very dependable and reasonably priced. I've been using them for years.

Propane service. During this awful COVID year you would think a utility company that provides propane to heat your home, would have some sort of empathy and provide flexible solutions for customers who are facing financial challenges. Like the majority of other utility companies are doing. No NOT GF Heating & Oil, they don't care! As long as they get there money in the 10 day window they allow! if you can't pay within that 10 day window, they will yank that payment it right out of your bank account weather you have it or not! We switched to GF heating and oil last year and have been very very happy with them. Their staff is always friendly and reliable and the owner always gets back to you promptly. Recently with the extremely cold temperatures we ran out of fuel despite being enrolled in a program where they automatically refill our tank. We called and were immediately put on the phone with the person on call.

We explained the situation and he apologized profusely and explained they had a delivery scheduled for us the very next day. Tom showed up at 11PM with 25 gallons of fuel to get us through the night to our scheduled delivery the next day. He changed our filter and we found out our 31 year old furnace had some other issues. He got us up and running for the night but had us call for maintenance the next day.

The next day, after calling and setting up maintenance, Tom, on his day off called to make sure everything was going ok. We requested to have him be the one come out and work on the furnace and although it was dead (no surprise there) he took the time to walk me though what had happened and go over our options. I could not be more happy with the experience we had we GF heating and oil and I would highly recommend them and especially Tom! Thank you for all that you guys did to get our family heat on a -17 degree night!
