Lighting speed service, addressed life safety issues left by a bad previous plumber (I thought they were an issue but the previous plumber assured us it was fine and the occasional CO alarm was not a concern) thank you Steve Service: Water heater installation

I called with in a day was at my house to check out situation and few days later sump pump installed!

Steve was responsive, professional and quick both times I've had to call him in plumbing related emergencies (removing a hot water heater after it leaked all over our floor and replacing it with a new one and another time when our line was clogged causing more flooding in our basement ). He was able to diagnose and solve both issues. He's pleasant, professional, cleans up after himself and overall it was a great experience!

We had a leaky shower valve and have had several different companies out over the last year to look at fixing it. They either said they couldn't fix it or we never heard from them again. When Steve arrived and we told him what was going on he took it as a challenge to fix it. He was friendly, courteous, and he succeeded when no one else could by fixing the valve!

The most recent work done with A-better was a furnace replacement, but we've also had this company work on a blocked sewer line, frozen pipes, and other jobs around the house. 5 stars applies to every job they've done for us. Never an issue or repeat work needed. Service is prompt and efficient, cleanup is immaculate, and we recommend them to family, friends and neighbors. Highly recommended!

I have never written a Yelp review but I felt compelled to do so because I am so disappointed. After following up to find out when he would show up (I stayed home from work to be available), the guy that finally came was rude and acted like I was an absolute idiot for asking what he thought the problem was. He took a couple cursory glances around and announced it would be $295 + tax to fix my kitchen drain that wasn't draining properly.

Apparently I'm supposed to take that at face value and just hand over $300 with no information about what's wrong. I ended up telling him we didn't want the work done by him and had to write him a check for $45 for doing absolutely nothing. It's hard to find a good plumber who you trust; this company is not it.

I live in Roselle and made an appointment for help with a kitchen faucet that barely had a drip of water flowing from it. I just Googled plumbers in Union County and came across this company. Steve Gates arrived on time, fixed the faucet in about 30 seconds, and helped with some other work (properly connected my water line to my refrigerator and repaired a radiator connection to avoid leaking).

He was professional, courteous, and most importantly, charged me a fair, reasonable price. He recommended some other improvements and I plan on hiring him for those additional services. Excellent service -- highly recommended!

Had a problem with my kitchen sink plumbing; clogged pipes. Steve showed up on time and was courteous. Also, he was very knowledgeable and respectful of my home. I feel like I got great value for my money.

Have used A-AAA Better Plumbing on multiple occasions and they've been great. Always prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced. They've been able to diagnose and repair some pretty serious plumbing issues we've encountered. You won't be disappointed.
