When I was shopping for a new a/c-/heating system I found the staff to be very helpful and professional. Installation was quick and clean and I have had very few problems with the service during these past ten years. Good unit along with good service, can't ask for any more than that. The technician arrived slightly early (which was perfect), courteous, and thorough. He propertly diagnosed a problem with my A/C, had a part pulled from a warehouse, and installed the part that day. I'm very happy with the professional service that was provided. Service: HVAC system maintenance

I had a great experience with Carteret Heating and Cooling. They installed a great GeoThermal system in my home. The install went well, was done professionally and has been serving my family well for almost 2 years. John White the owner is extremely knowledgeable, straight forward, honest and fair. If you live in Carteret Country then you know the troubles we have here with contractors and home labor. You won't have a problem with Carteret Heating and Cooling. They're a honest, family owned business and care about their customers.

Carteret Heating And Cooling is an excellent company and provides very well trained and knowledgeable technicians and advisers. They have been servicing our home since 2004 replacing nearly everything at one point due to hurricane damage and providing modifications for a lot of the changes that we have made. They are definitely our go to group and we would never go anywhere else for our HVAC services.

I would especially like to commend Tim Long as being a very focused and customer oriented individual who make sure that what needs to be done gets done and gets done on time!

Carteret Heating & Cooling put in a new geothermal system at my house in Emerald Isle. John is very informative and competent. His staff knows geothermal systems and how to install/test them. When there was an issue with one unit due to the manufacturer, John's people were at my house the next day to correct it. I will definitely be using Carteret Heating & Cooling for all my future HVAC needs.

We have used Carteret Heating and Cooling for years. They installed multiple HVAC systems in our large beach house, and have done a great job helping us keep them up with preventative maintenance and replacing things as is often needed in the salty beachfront environment. They installed the entire HVAC system when the house was built in 2011 & after 10+ years still completely satisfied. Having the annual maintenance plan is without a doubt the very best thing one can have with them. It's a great value for the price. You're informed about renewal on a timely basis, service techs are on time, professional & courteous. They take the amount of time needed at your location & notify the office if they are delayed in going to next service location. Recommend them 100% without reservations.

Highly Recommended! We have used Carteret Heating and Cooling for over 15 years for maintenance, zone installation, new duct work, and eventually new AC unit. EXTRAORDINARILY Focused on Service. RESPONSIVE and PROFESSIONAL. They have even fixed a few simple problems over the phone without charge so they didn't have to generate a service call. Always a pleasant experience from service center, technicians and the sales reps.

The tech from Carteret was very thorough and took extra steps to secure loose insulation inside the air handler. He also let me know that even though the capacitor was within range of still testing good, it was at the low end of the specified range and replacing it during the PMP could save me money versus having to come back for a service call He was very professional and knowledgeable Jeff Hill

What an AWESOME company! They fixed me up perfectly and answered all my questions. The technician even helped teach me more about my equipment and what I can do, as a homeowner, for maintenance. What a great company. I can't remember our technicians name but he was a fit red haired man and my wife said if it wasn't for me she would try to marry him. If the wife is happy, I'm happy.

--Prompt, professional and courteous - I can't say enough good things about the team at Carteret Heating & Cooling Company. --When our air conditioning went out overnight during the hottest week of the summer, we called on Friday morning fearing we would be put on a week-long waiting list. After speaking with April, she had a service tech at our home that very afternoon to diagnose the problem.

Despite a faulty motor, Caleb was able to get our unit up and running as they waited for the replacement part, which ended up being a warranty repair - we never went without air conditioning as the temps soared into the 90s. --When the repair part arrived the following week, Crystal called to alert us and immediately sent a service tech out to swap out the bad motor. Ian had the new motor installed in less than 30 minutes and offered up some suggestions for maximizing our HVAC system. All of the diagnostic and repair pricing was shared up front and payments were easily made over the phone. --They've earned a customer for life.

My AC went out on Saturday. Was a bad blower motor. They came highly recommended. We have been looking to put a whole new unit in our house for sometime and this weekend it gave us no choice but to move forward. So with that in mind, we were going to repair what we have and purchase a new unit through them. Well the guy working the weekend strung us along Saturday with little communication throughout the day. Sunday, he said he would be here by 11 didn't show up until 12:30. Stayed 15 mins. Said he would call us between 1:00 and 2:00 with the information about the part. Did not hear back from him until my husband called around 3:30 and said his manager would call us in the morning.

Manager never called today (7/12/21). My husband had to call. I have a family that cannot survive in this heat. Now I understand I am a new customer, but the lack of communication and lack willingness to keep my business has put a bad taste in our mouths. They lost what could have be between a $7000-$10,000 job, along with contracted maintenance and upkeep we werePoor customer service!

We hired company to clean dryer vent because it is difficult for us to clean. They should have received a 5 star because the technicians were fantastic and changed dryer vent hose and took about 1 hour. My first mistake was we did not ask price up front but my husband did ask the technicians and they did give him a range of 150.00 to 250.00 but they do not do the billing and we would receive a bill in the mail.

We were shocked when bill came in the mail 350.00. I reached out to the owner and it was a waste of time said I should have asked for pricing and told him my husband asked the technicians and he told me they should not quote pricing since they do not do the billing. Call and get quotes in writing before you hire them.
