This company is a subcontractor for centerpoint energy and they are not only rude but extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. One employee had come out to give us estimate and then another employee came out to do the work and completely flipped out that the other employee misquoted the job and underbid it. They will not hesitate to blame their business and employee issues on you and have no idea what they are doing. DO NOT USE THEM! NOT WORTH THE TIME OR ENERGY AND ARE JUST DOWNRIGHT JERKS (I had a better word but didn't want to use it in a review!)

My water heater broke down over the weekend I have Homesmart who connected me with Larson plumbing. Steve came over on Sunday to look at the problem, found the thermostat was not working, He said he would try and fix it until Monday when he could get parts. He told me he would call me around 6.00 pm to see if it was still ok. It was not. Monday morning 9.00 am he was at my door to fix the problem with in 1/2 hour all was good.
My water heater is very old was not sure if this would solve my problem, so far so good, I sure would use Larson and have Steve come to do my repairs. Receptionist at Larson was so pleasant and polite. Great company so pleased I found them Karen J

Absolute worst customer service of anyplace ever. I would have NEVER in a million years called this place myself. However, I am a HomeSmart (Xcel energy) customer and they work with them. I called on May 28 to let HomeSmart know about having no ac. I was told someone from Larson would be calling me the next day to set something up with me. They did call the following day. only to tell me that their scheduler would be calling in a day or two. Hmmmm. ok?
Four days later I still had not heard back from them, so I called to set an appointment. I didn't have my case number with me (I was at work) so apparently that makes making an appointment extremely difficult as I was on the phone for about 10 minutes. Made an appointment for one week later with a time slot of 12-4pm. I made sure to be home because they said the technician would call when they were a half hour away.
Finally at 6:15 pm my phone rings. He tells me he's running late! Says he can't get to my house until 8:30pm at the earliest - he had 4 houses to stop at before mine. Do I want to reschedule (ummmm NO). He also told me he tried to call me earlier. (Interesting, my phone didn't ring, nor did I have any messages - but it was working this time?!?!).
I told him I'd wait as it was 85 in my house. He called again a half hour later and said he was on his way. Wow, those 4 other houses must have all been in the same neighborhood! How lucky! He would be arriving in 15 minutes! 20 minutes later he calls back and says he's lost. I gave him turn by turn directions (he was about a block away) and it still took him at least 5 more minutes.
He walked right on into my place without knocking. No uniform on or anything that would say "Hey, I work for a real company". I thought maybe rode his skateboard over. Hollister jeans, some random t-shirt, Sperry shoes and mismatched socks. After tinkering around for 20 minutes, he decided my thermostat was no good. "Have you ever been able to change the temp with that thermostat?" he asked me. Seriously?!?!?!?!? Nope, I always like it to be set on 82.
He said he'd check to see if he had a new thermostat with him and if he didn't he'd have to order one and install it the next day. No new thermostat and haven't heard from his since. I have complained to HomeSmart about them being associated with poor places such as this. We'll see if anything changes. I would definitely not recommend this place, and would give it zero stars if that was possible!

I love going with local business over the massive company. I go out of my way to support small business, but when I do I hope for better service. In this case I'm not so sure. The service itself was good once they made it to my place. All I had done was a simple furnace tune-up. Firstly the owner usually answers the phone. His phone skills leave a lot to be desired.
He also needs to invest in a calendar to keep his appointments straight. I tried to book a month in advance. That seemed impossible and I was told to call back in 2 weeks. When I called back I was told the appointment would be confirmed the next day by the technician. I was also told that if I didn't receive a phone call by 2pm, just call back.
Call back?! What do you mean call back. I have a much more logical solution.do what you say and call me back to confirm the appointment. Do you want my money or not?! Like I said once the guy made it out to my house everything was good. He was courteous and polite. They actually found a crack in my heat exchanger and the entire furnace needed replaced.
I then called to speak with the owner about what to do. He said he was going to call me back the next day with two furnace options. It's been a week and I'm still waiting for that phone call. In the meantime I went with another company. You would have thought Larson H&P would have wanted my business, which was around $5,000 to replace the furnace.
I would have actually expected them to love scenarios like mine. But apparently my request was lost in the shuffle. Anyways, if you like to support small business maybe give these guys a try. Don't expect to be wined and dined, but they are nice people. Pros: Small company, good service when on site. Cons: Need to invest in a calendar and do what they say they are going to do.
