Unbelievable Company! Gillespie Fuels & Propane have been nothing but amazing! I have been a customer of them for the past 18 years and have nothing bad to say. I call to have my annual furnace cleaning and they were on my doorstep the next day. They are prompt, professional and friendly and are always available by phone or email. I would highly recommend Gillespie Fuels & Propane without hesitation.

This company is a sham. After telling them time, time, time again that our furnace needed serious maintenance, they consistently refused to perform services. The employees were rude, dismissive, and dishonest about our heating equipment. We have now had to switch companies to have emergency work done because Gillespie refused to do so. STAY AWAY!

I have used Steve and his crew for several projects at my home. He has done driveway grading and ditching, brought me loads of stone, maintained my driveway and helped me with fill. They also have all of my propane accounts! They are professional, easy to work with, timely and reasonably priced. I continue to call on them with all of these needs and have enjoyed working with them for a few years now! Highly recommend this company a great one stop shop!

Just purchased home in northfield come home after a couple of weeks there at my house telling me to open an account or there locking tank. We just forgot to call. So we go online do the application. Come home less than a week later tank is lock out. The first time they came said we had 60 percent in tank the bill was 133.20 at 2.22 per gallon called to find out why they lock tank and this rude women say we didnt get your application.
A simple phone call could have fix it. So we do application again and an hour later she calls says you had 72 percent in tank and its going to be 3.97 per gallon and my bill is now 286 dollar. So not only did they try and screw me for 12 percent of fuel they tried to charge me a different price that they already collected from the person that was here before us. I told them to pull there tank im going with an electric stove. Ill keep everyone posted on how long it take for these fools to get this tank off my property.

I witnessed the owner/manager treating her staff extremely poorly and unfairly. I stopped in recently and saw the owner scolding her employees in front of customers for something they had done correctly- the owner just wasn't paying attention and thought her employees weren't doing a good job- even though they were fantastic! The owner was flat out mean and frankly her behavior was disgusting. I refuse to do business with someone who treats their employees this way. I promptly closed my account and have been telling everyone I know to do the same.

They let me run out of propane and now their regulator went and as a result it broke my furnace. They are failing to contact me to resolve the issue and keep me up to date. I am sitting here on day seven with no heat trying to pry updates out of them as to when parts will come in and when they will be here to fix it. At this time it has been sub zero and I am struggling to keep my house warm with my wood heat trying to strategize feeding my wood stove every four hours and still work and sleep.

I've been having a lot of issues with this company. I've lived in northfield for a few months and I'm in disbelief. They routinely forget to fill our tank, and I've had to go in to the store to find out how they will solve that problem, phone calls didn't help. They installed a heat source in our basement to fight frozen pipes, but the workers were vocally upset about having to work "after hours, " did a shoddy job and created an oil spill in our basement, requiring the FIRE DEPARTMENT to dispatch two trucks this morning.
Meanwhile their "after hours" grumbling leads to us and our duplex neighbors with small children being without warm water for the fourth day in a row. They were supposed to defrost our pipes finally today, but neglected to show up. My landlord, roommates, neighbors and I have been on the phone constantly with them for days now. It's "after hours" now and the worker who answered the phone was so UNBELIEVABLY rude.
I was calling to ask if the oil smell throughout our house was safe or if I should call the fire department again, and instead of listening to me she told me it was after hours (AT 4:40?! Isn't 5:00 the end of the day?) and she ALSO told me she would not speak to me because I am not the landlord. Does this mean they also will not accept my payments, since I'm not the landlord and all? Because at this point, why am I paying at all.
