We just installed a heat pump with central air handler and HEPA for upstairs room and minisplit system for downstairs rooms. We also had a heat pump water heater installed all with Valley Heating. We had an excellent experience. The install team lead by Rob was very experienced and knowledgeable. They consulted us with any design variations and kept us updated each day.
They accomplished all of the install in about a week, which was impressive given they needed to install all new ducting. On top of it all, we were able to lock in some local rebates with the help of Rob Minor that reduced the cost of the system by about 30%. We highly recommend Valley Heating for your heating and cooling needs. Thanks so much!

Just a short note to give my highest recommendations to Valley Heating & Cooling for their excellent work on our systems. The Technicians that worked on our project showed up ON TIME, as promised. They completed the work flawlessly, all the way down to the smallest detail of workmanship. Last, they showed high regard for our home by using coverings for the floors and furniture (as needed) and they cleaned-up 100% after the work was completed. I could not be more satisfied with this company's workmanship and professionalism. Many thanks!

Got our HVAC servicing done from them this week. Our first time getting it done. Very professional, friendly and good service provided. 1 ding on the star because of filter choice that they offer (no HEPA). Had we known would have bought some and kept ready. But again this was our first time getting it done so maybe this is standard practice? Overall happy.

After many, many years of great service from Valley Heating, we needed to replace our heating and air conditioning system. I dreaded this day because I knew it would mean that we would have to move out of the house to get this done. not so. They were so quiet and clean that we stayed in the house while they replaced the full HVAC system and all of the duct work!
The quality of workmanship and kindness of the workers made a lousy situation very comfortable. Did I mention that our house was built in the 60's so the system itself is in a closet in the middle of the house? The crawl space is also in a closet with maybe 18 of clear space. Still, no complaints and zero delays. We can't be happier! Bert G.

We called them for a quote and were so impressed with the level of service, information, and care they put into their work. We received quotes from several companies, but they are the only company that took the time to properly measure our home and make recommendations based on our actual needs and usage.

These guys are true professionals. I hired them to replace our gas water heater and furnaces with heat pump appliances. Our crew, led by Robert and Jerry, were competent, capable, knowledgeable, and careful. I was so impressed by the work that they did, I would not hesitate to recommend them or to hire them for additional work.

I was very satisfied with the knowledge and professionalism of the service technician. He was very thorough and explained in detail the status of my A/C and heating units. He gave me a breakdown of the options I had and didn't try to sell me on any one certain option. He gave me the information to make up my own mind.

My heater stopped working yesterday I called Valley Heating this morning and was told they could come out the same day. I was given a range of 1pm-5pm with the full expectation that I would be waiting until 5pm to see someone. I was called at 12:50 and told by the technician that he would be to my home in 15 minutes. 15 minutes later he was here. Very nice man, wore booties to enter my home and waited patiently as I explained my problem to him.
He was able to diagnose the issue within minutes (a faulty switch) and 15 minutes later everything was up and running again. I was only charged the service call fee. He did suggest the the replacement of a second switch, but also showed me a workaround if I wasn't ready to do that. I am an avid "do-it-your-selfer" but I wasn't sure I could diagnose this issue on my own.
I think the price I paid for the visit was extremely fair, and the technician was very good. I will use Valley Heating again in the future when it comes time to replace my 60 year old furnace. Thanks VHCE and S.

The electrician Valley uses most of the time, Sal, is top notch. He's a perfectionist-- something you want in an electrician. He's very neat, knowledgeable, polite and good at troubleshooting. He installed 3 sub panels, wired everything for a 1,000 sqft new construction addition plus replaced old knob and tube wiring with modern Romex wiring in almost the rest of a house.
He recently came back and did a difficult install of some backyard lights on a ladder that had to be positioned very wisely. I'm fairly handy (can replace individual electrical outlets etc) but Sal is very efficient and saved us so much time. I followed him around on a few occasions and learned more about electrical. I haven't dealt with Valley for other jobs but I give Sal 6 stars.

Since November 2021 I have hired Valley Heating, Cooling to install two HVAC systems. The first was in a condominium where the old HVAC system was a heat pump that the original manufacture no longer produced. The design of the condo forced the original builder (Barry Swenson) to locate the system in essentially an elevated closet inside the condo instead of the patio.
After receiving a total of four bids I chose to accept the bid of Ray Linden from Valley Heating. They installed a Mitsubishi slim line HVAC system that is super efficient, quiet and complied with the HOA requirements. My tennant is very happy with system and his much lower energy bill. I watched the removal of the old system and installation of the new system.
I was so impressed with the way both employees worked that I told Ray I wanted a bid for my house which had only a two sided wall furnace. He came out and went through my house. He noticed we had a water heater in the basement which was all dirt as we had raised the house ten years ago to replace the foundation. He provided a bid which included a new Lenox furnace in the basement, a Bradford and White 40 gallon lowboy water heater also in the basement and an American Standard slimline air-conditioner in our backyard.
The four employees installed all the ductwork, electrical, cut the floor vents in our hardwood floors, tile, so on and so forth. The heating and air-conditioner work great. Super quiet and efficient. These four employees and the two who worked on my condo are unbelievable. They spent five days at my house and I could not be happier. By the way the company is Diamond Certified so I received an $1,150 rebate for the Mitsubishi system which covered the cost of the final inspection and testing of the system by BayRen, Elements and the city of San Jose. This is the most professional company I have come across. There were some issues with the air flow in my house, and they called in 3-4 experts to get the issue resolved at no extra cost. Everyone was very courteous, showed up on time, and did and excellent job. An extra shout-out to John Faulkner, who was my overall coordinator, and patiently helped answer all my questions!

This company is great. My neighbors heater broke. I called this company for my neighbor who is older and sometimes fixing things at the house can overwhelm her. So Valley Heating worked with me so we could get my neighbor warm again. The guys were incredibly nice and caring. STEVE was super awesome. And the overall vibe was A Plus. I really can't say enough. Thank you for the entire experience. You guys are the top of the heap.

Kevin came out today to replace our furnace filter and UV light kit as part of our annual maintenance plan. Kevin went above and beyond to keep us informed about what he was doing; was extremely thorough and meticulous servicing both inside and outside units; and is genuinely just a very nice person! I highly recommend Valley, and if you're lucky, you'll get to work with Kevin!

The fan of our Lennox HVAC randomly restarted by itself even if the thermostat was off, which was very annoying and we had to unpowered the unit every night. We originally worked with another Lennox dealer, who cannot fix the issue after several tries, and we ended up paying hundreds of dollars without the issue being fixed. A professional in the field recommended Valley Heating. They not only pin-pointed the issue, but also charged much less than the the first dealer. I would highly recommended them.

This is a huge shout-out to Valley Heating. I had a to replace an ancient furnace that my house was literally built around; there was no way to just slide a new one in place. Valley Heating was able to install a new furnace in the attic but duct it to my existing floor ducts. The crew spent three days here and did a fantastic job. The three men were professional, so respectful of my house and me and did an amazing job.
They cleaned up every day, came on time, explained what they were doing, checked with me when decisions needed to be made. I had to leave before they were done on the last day. They phoned me to tell me the job was done, and when I got home later that night I discovered they had left the furnace on so my house was warm and cozy for my return. I could not be happier. Thank you, Valley Heating!

I called this morning to have someone come look at my furnace, which was suddenly putting out only cool air. I was happy to get an appointment this afternoon. Arnel came out and found the problem--cobwebs in the line which feeds natural gas to the furnace! Not long after he cleared the line, the house was warming up. Thanks to David on the phone this morning who got me such a quick appointment, and thanks to Arnel for expertly diagnosing and fixing the problem! I'll probably get some mean comments from the spiders who saw their webbing get destroyed, but I can live with that! In a world where some businesses seem to have lost their customer service abilities, Valley Heating and Cooling is doing everything right!

Very pleased with Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical! Highly recommend! We built a brand new home 3 years ago and are slowly repairing all the shoddy work we were left with. Our A/C started pouring water from the attic into the hallway last summer. A company came out then and told me our system was "installed backwards" and the drip pans didn't seem to be the right size.
They tried to help and it got us through Covid. They never followed up (their loss), and a friend referred me to Valley. When I called and told them about a backward A/C unit, the lady on the phone said it wasn't the first time she's heard that! She sent Martin out for diagnostics and an estimate. He told us about all the problems he could see and (we already knew) the ductwork needed to be rerouted, the coil unit needed to be turned around so it could be accessed by someone working on it, dampers installed and the drip pans needed to be replaced and my sons room needed to actually get cool air.
This was a two person, 3 day job. Was very happy to have Laura as the lead on the job (my daughter was very keenly watching a woman go up and down the attic stairs and hauling and installing all the parts and pieces) and Ulises as her partner. They were punctual, clean, polite, explained everything they found and cleaned up nicely at the end of every day.
They did need to put in new coils, once the defective (looked dropped and was broken=hidden on back side) unit was taken apart. They also put in a sensor in the drip pan, which will turn off the unit if there is ever water in there. They repaired a leaky freon hose and put in 1-2 pounds of freon. They also actually attached the pvc pipe from the house to the yard to handle condensation. Within minutes of everything being hooked up, we had cold air again - in every room. We could not be happier with our experience.

I was in need of a special duct to complete a DIY project but had been unable to find it anywhere. I stopped by their showroom in the hope that they would have some in stock and sell me a short enough section of it. Not only did they have exactly what I was looking for, the GM went to the back and cut a few feet off a longer run, so that I could fit it in my car.
Best of all, he did not even want to charge me for it! What an awesome thing to do! He really made my day and I still feel that I didn't thank him enough. I have never hired them and can't speak for the quality of work these guys do but based on my interaction with them, I will definitely consider them for any future A/C or heating repairs or installations.

After contacting several HVAC companies to request quotes about multi-zone mini-splits, I found Valley Heating and Cooling. That was the first company that seemed to understand the mini splits really well. Zac came out and gave me several options and recommendations. Felt he was very honest as he educated me on the different options I had and the pros and cons. I ended up with a Mitsubishi multi-zone mini-split. The installation crew was very professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend this company!

Tell me why they called me today and said "we're calling to confirm your appointment for Monday between 8-10AM" when this email I received clearly states the appointment is for today (Friday) and in the initial call we discussed that we are only available on Fridays during the week. The person calling was very non-chalent and clearly didn't want to try to fix the problem.
I surely will not be doing business with this company and will not recommend them in the future. They had ZERO interest in fixing their scheduling mistake. Also, we cancelled family plans today specifically to be available for this appointment that THEY SCHEDULED 2 weeks ago. Great company to do business with, eh?

I called 11 local HVAC companies. Valley Heating and Cooling was the only one to help! All I needed was my ac condensor unit moved a few feet to make room for a second unit and Valley Heating did an amazing job. I had an appointment and they even called me a week ahead of time and said they can fit me in so they did! I can't compare "service" to the competitors but I can say Valley Heating was the only company to provide a correct scope of work and the price.
Other companies tried charging 3x more and classifying it as an install, or said they don't work on systems unless I bought from them, or set 3 appointments to confrim the scope of work. It took Valley Heating less time to fix the issue than it did for me to simply get a call back from the other guys. Save yourself a headache, call Valley Heating first.

I don't know how to 'grade' this so a "meh", due to my lack of experience in dealing with these sorts of repairs. I do know this is a firm that I won't be using in the future. First - it seemed to take a long time. From initial service call to 'completion' - about a month. There were multiple back and forths. Second, I think the work was in a word, "poor".
This is where my lack of experience in these matters takes over. Perhaps I'm OCD and/or a perfectionist - I'd rather take extra time and procure the necessary parts/tools/instruments (granted this isn't always possible) to have an OEM look or better. From what I saw, this doesn't seem to have happened. Photos are worth a thousand words, and you've probably read enough. You can see for yourself and even take a look at a video: https://youtu.be/m1wfpkYRdII
