To start, a basic phone interview will be conducted in order to gather your information and have a general idea of what type of system you are looking for. Introduction at the front door and the Comfort Consultant will ask for a place to sit down and go over the Comfort Concerns survey. Once all Comfort Concerns have been addressed, the Comfort Consultant will measure your home in order to properly design your system. A load calculation will be generated at your home and reviewed by your Comfort Consultant.

Put Air and Heating ducks in parents attic. Half of our suitcases and belongings are stuck in part of our attack that we can't get to. Never asked us to get them out before installing! Left pieces of metal and wall all over in attic. Left my parents with no heat in the winter for 2 days! After they were done we could not believe the mess they left! Very unethical.

We've been using MH&A for at least 10 years. They've been great. Responsive, diligent and friendly. Most people don't know, they do plumbing too. Quick to respond when I was across the pond waking to a 3am call for a burst pipe when the Misses could not find the water shut off valve (dig at wife for good measure)! Sure miss Dan the Man, our original tech, he was a fantastic human being, RIP!

This is my first Yelp message ever. I just want to applaud McHenry Heating and Air Conditioning. We have used their Service for more than 15 years and I've never been disappointed. Every technician that has ever been in my home has been well trained, knowledgeable, and efficient. They're always professional, neat, and on time. They have never tried to "push or sell" product.
They are honest. The office personnel are always ready to assist and find a way to fill the need with a smile and desire to help. I have them come for my yearly cleaning and call to trouble shoot when necessary. We also bought a furnace and they helped us make the right decision about a year ago. With so many companies out there it's important to find one that understands your issue(s) and never gives up in finding out what's wrong. Our friendly service guy Jeremy has been the best! He found and fixed our issue and explained to us all the way through the process. I've used this company for years and have always been treated with great customer service and prompt service calls by all there employees. McHenry HVAC has been maintaining and has also done new unit installations on two of my homes across almost 15 years. They came recommended to me and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing reliable and honest HVAC or plumbing work. I have 3 HVAC units and a boiler system in my home in Woodstock, all seasonally serviced my McHenry. Zero complaints. This company is one of very few that have restored my faith in great customer service and business acumen! I have lived in a townhouse community for over 15 years with a very complicated heating system. When switching from air conditioning to heat, my brain froze and I forgot how to do it. Since I have seen their company trucks around several times, I guessed that they were familiar with the system so I called for a service appointment even though I was kicking myself for my stupidity for having to spend the money. They were kind enough to email me the visual and instructions! Heat is working and they now have a happy future customer for all my service needs.

Our furnace went out on one of the coldest days of 2016. McHenry Heating and Air came out same day. We were hoping for for only a repair as we planned to replace both the aging furnace and AC unit in the spring. But we were not so lucky. We needed a full replacement. They were able to to schedule the emergency installation the very next day and had a three man crew working most of the day to tear out and install the new unit.
Our crawl space is also probably the most difficult crawl space to work in and the crew worked through every obstacle. I am very pleased with all of the work done and would recommend these guys. Since we also need a new condenser, they will come back in the spring and finish the work for the AC.

Called for Heating Tune-Up service. Paid $109. McHenry Heating tech came to service the furnace and informed me that Inducer needs to be replaced for $500 then use a small flashlight to check the hole of the furnace and informed that he has to stop and not complete the service. McHenry Heating tech use scare tactics and intimidation and very force full that I replace my furnace ASAP.
Even though McHenry Tech did not complete the tune up and left my furnace at a messy situation, they charge me $109. Extremely Poor Customer Service, Unprofessional, put the customer at a vulnerable spot and big time rip off. With this treatment they lost my business and i end up selecting ARS Rooting Company where i purchase a complete package of Furnace and Air Condition. McHenry Heating, my advice don't let your technician treat customer this way. Your company will loss business.

Our AC unit stopped working at 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon ( 90 degrees) and your company was the only company to call us back. Joe came out within 2 hrs and fixed the unit. Very, very pleased wih McHenry Heating! I called late on a Sun. night and they were at our home first thing Mon. morning. The Service Technician, Tim was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He thoroughly checked every aspect of our furnace and diagnosed the problem. We are very happy to have our house warm again!

McHenry Heating & Air Conditioning SAVED us this past weekend! We were out of town for a few days and returned home to a 45 degree house- the furnace pilot light had gone out. After researching and trying to fix it on our own, we decided to bite the bullet and call a technician. McHenry Heating & Air was at our house within the hour, the technician was very nice and he had the part in his truck and fixed our furnace within 30 minutes.
It was $160 for the visit since it was a Sunday at 9pm and then an additional $250 for the fried wire. It was a big chunk of change but we knew we would never be able to fix the furnace ourselves and on a night when it was negative degrees windchill- we happily paid the price to have a warm home!

I had these guys come out to fix a capacitor on my air conditioner. They charged me $250 for the part, plus the technicians time. I asked if the part was really that much and was assured it was. After he left, I looked up the part and I could buy it for $25. I called the main office to complain, and they tried to tell me that it was the cost for having it available. 1000 percent markup. What a bunch of crooks! Losing faith in people when they take advantage like that.

We used them for a new heating and air system in March. They not only were the best priced for the units we wanted but they were really professional. The install was fast, clean and I felt comfortable having them in my home. They explained the system and its operations completely. It is now the hottest June and July on record. I can say our system is working beautifully!
