Edwards Plumbing & Heating was founded in 1948 in Montgomery, AL. For over 65 years they have been installing plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems for the leading homebuilders in the area. Originally founded as a plumbing and hardware store, they expanded into installing mechanical systems in 1959 and dropped the hardware division.
The patriarch of our air conditioning department. Damon has been with us for over 43 years servicing and installing both residential and commercial jobs with no plans on slowing down anytime soon. Although joining us a little over a year ago, Jimmy brings with him over 25 years of service, installation and duct experience with him.
Edwards Plumbing provides both Commercial and Residential Air conditioning services. If you have a residential unit that needs air conditioning repairs or an entire AC replacement we can help you. We have NATE certified technicians, experience in commercial AC repair/replacement to help with your commercial units and our scheduled maintenance plans are great to make sure your AC unit does not break down again.
At Edwards Plumbing & Heating we understand how uncomfortable living conditions can be when your air conditioning system is not working to its maximum efficiency. In our own homes, when the system is down, the immediate objective is to remedy the situation as soon as feasibly possible and in a cost effective manner.

I cannot say enough good things about this company! They did our initial inspection before we purchased our house 3 years ago and gave us a fair and honest assessment of the systems in the house. Last year they did a complete replace of the inside and outside parts of the heating and cooling system in the heat of August. The price for that service was extremely competitive and everything was done well, including running a new electrical circuit and running new refrigerant lines.
Today a pair of gentlemen came out to replace our hot water heater and like usual the service was performed quickly and well. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing or heating/cooling service. Every interaction with everyone, on the phone and in person, has been pleasant and they have been able to get a service team out quickly each time. I wish I could give 10 out of 5 stars!

These guys are very dependable and timely. I had an emergency and they had someone come out the same day to see about the issue. They were friendly, courteous and cared about fixing my issue. I initially called spire for this heating issue but they no longer service the area and I was referred several companies where "Edwards Heating and Plumbing" was on the list. I called them all however, they were the only ones who answered, Thank God. Because they were the exact type of business I was hunting for. - Glenda Washington

Called and received service within a few hours - what I thought would be a huge expense was actually a simple fix and was basically charged for a service call. Guys were very professional and even cleaned my coils (as a bonus measure) and waited to see if the simple solution to the thermostat was indeed the problem. Service was fantastic and the price was certainly right! HIGHLY recommend using Edwards for your HVAC needs and repairs!
