Alaska Best Plumbing & Heating

I wish I had read the reviews on Yelp instead of here before I contacted this business. Horrible experience with this business, the Alaska Worst Plumbing! What happened here was a guy came to my house without a confirmed appointment (he claimed he called me before he came) when only my wife was at home. The only thing he did was to make the problem worse by turning a visible leaking into an invisible one and claimed that he fixed the problem.

Eventually (after a few months) I had to hire a licensed engineer to inspect the house and cost me more than $400 to replaced the whole unit, in addition to the $130 this worst company charged and material they purchased ($2.95 on the receipt but charged $19.99). I filed a complaint to Bureau of Consumer Protection. Update: This worst company lied again. See attached photo. Are you going to deny again?

Absolutely would recommend! The crew from Alaska Best Plumbing & Heating installed a EK System 2000 when my old cast iron boiler was on its way out. They were very responsive, professional, and downright honest from the very beginning starting with the at home consultation. They did not try to nickel and dime me and new exactly what was right for me and my family. Installation was quick, convenient, and done with the highest quality. I am extremely satisfied with the new boiler and look forward to doing business with them again.

They have the best service, been having furnace issues. They were quick to get to it! The tech was so very nice. Sometimes they are even willing to work with people on the bill, they know most people can't just drop a bunch of money, they are so very understanding! I will definitely be using them again, you will not disappointed with them!

They did everything that they could do to assist with my plumbing and heating issues they were patient with the electronic issues that I was having trying to render payment they also came out in an an expeditious manner. An asset to the North Pole/Fairbanks/Delta Junction area. I had a Taco backflow preventer malfunctioning on my EK boiler and the technician made quick work of the repair and installed additional valves that had been missed in the original installation. Service: Heating system maintenance

I live in Delta and we only have 1 good boiler guy so as you can imagine it's impossible to schedule him. I called these guys on someone else's recommendation and they did an excellent job! No travel charge if it's on their monthly scheduled days in Delta, on time (actually they called and said they had extra time so he came early), cleaned and replaced parts as needed, made adjustments and tested when finished, very reasonable rates.

They left no mess behind and were done in an hour. I would recommend them to everyone in Delta and will definitely be using them next fall for the annual cleaning of our boiler.

Critical: Responsiveness I have used Alaska Best off and on for various homes and apartments since Jeff owned it. I have always been happy. I called this afternoon to schedule an appointment. I was told that their schedule was too full and that they weren't taking on new clients. Hardly a new client. Not impressed.

We were helping out an elderly neighbor who had to be rushed to the hospital. We were cleaning her house for her return when we noticed that her toilet was inoperable. We contacted Alaska Best Plumbing to see if we could get a quote for repair. They sent a technician out the next day. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable, he assessed the problem quickly and was able to get the toilet running properly. The nicest thing was that since we were trying to do they right thing they passed it on and did the work with no charge. A great company and a real member of the community.

Just got the new System 2000 installed! Very good looking work! The technicians were very professional. Two days install and cleaned up after project completed. I recommend using this family owned company. The service is excellent and very good quality work. I will be using them for all my future projects. One more furnace and some plumbing work.
