Apgar stepped up promptly when our long-time heating oil supplier unexpectedly left us stranded. A first-visit inspection revealed a small leak in our 60-year-old tank. The company worked with us to remove and replace the tank quickly. Everything was done smoothly, neatly, professionally and with good communication. I could not ask for a better result.

Apgar Oil has been servicing my home for years. The servicemen and delivery men have always been dependable, professional, and always exhibit a high degree of knowledge. Today, with temperatures in the mid-thirties, my furnace broke. An emergency phone call was made and Apgar Oil exceeded my highest expectations. Within an hour of that phone call the technician arrived at my house, diagnosed the problem, replaced the broken part, and got my furnace up and running. The house didn't even have time to get cold. That is above and beyond great service and I am extremely grateful.

Good service, and a number of plans to fit your needs and budget. They also alerted me to the fact my oil tank was very close to failure. So they helped me secure funding and di very good and efficient work in removing my old tank nd installing the new one. Really couldn't ask for more.

Apgar recently removed a large oil tank from our property in a driving rain in order to do the job as promised. The crew was professional, fast & efficient. The crew practiced covid distancing procedure & wore masks when appropriate. Much appreciated. The office staff is helpful & follows thru.

I have been with Apgar for about 15 years. Their service has been exceptional! When I consulted with them regarding air conditioning, I was able to discuss various options, advantages and disadvantages. I was kept informed of the process during installation. The work was done in an organized manner. I would highly recommend them.

Horrible. If you are thinking of getting fuel and you see Thrifty or Apgar oil run as far away as possible. There are other quality companies who are fair honest with good customer service. Clear expectations are not set for delivery. If they cannot deliver do not expect a courtesy call, that involves customer service they have none. While I was unaware my spouse switched to them on advice from a friend till recently, or I c would have read prior reviews.

I am currently out of oil. They have our money. They are now refunding this will take time so I'm delayed before having refund to order from a real company. I've shared details of my experience with at least 10 friends in just two days. Until I am done every person I work with go to church with and encounter lots be told never ever use this company. Spoke to Jim on Monday and they were here on Tuesday to pump out a leaking oil tank. We called several places and it seems like not to many companies perform this type of work. They were very professional and the two guys that came out were very polite and helped us in a time of crisis. If you ever need a tank drained I would highly recommend this company. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. Seamless process from start to finish. Shawn was great to work with upfront helping us figure out what we wanted and needed, and the team that did the install worked with integrity, cleanliness, and efficiency. They didn't leave until we had a clear understanding of what they did and how to maintain everything throughout the summer and winter months. They finished the job up ensuring we were comfortable and happy.

My AC stopped working. Mark from Apgar came at the same day, fixed it in twenty minutes and charged a very reasonable price. Thank you!

Ran out of oil and called to get an emergency fill this afternoon - I was told someone would be out shortly and they would call back. After Two hours, no call- my husband called their office again to check, we were again told that a truck would be out after their current service call. Two more hours- no truck.we called again, after being given the run around for 15minutes, we were THEN informed, we were originally lied to.

No one was coming to deliver fuel and no one would be available to come until Monday- two days no heat because they lied. Had we been told no one was in the FIRST time, we may have been able to reach another company. Now it's almost 9pm, and we have no options but to freeze till Monday now! Outrageous!

When we were installing a new oil boiler, we talked in detail with three companies. Apgar provided the most reliable equipment at a fair price. The installation went very well, and it has performed well. Then they replaced our 60 year old oil tank. Deliveries have also been reliable.

We ordered 50 gallons of oil and paid an extra $75 to have them prime the furnace. The the tech said he could not prime the furnace because it needed a new filter. Apgar still charged us for the priming service. They gave no explanation for why would charge us for a service they never delivered on.
