If you like a 20k$ system that fails to work after 3 months (coollant having leaked mysteriously) that company that installed it refuses to fix and owner has to pay to fix. and further 6 months down the line during Seattle snow storm, outdoor unit freezes due to poor placement, yes, this is your company! And as added bonus installing wrong kind of outdoor unit without defrost cycle (not even manual) really added that cherry on top. So no, I would recommend this to my enemies. Friends should give wide birth, hire professionals that stand behind their work.

A PP&S service tech came to service a 1974-vintage electric furnace in a condo on market for sale as follow up required by the primary home inspection. Based on prior experience we selected this contractor. The report was of no real substance, hard to read and the tech left leaving no inspection sticker nor replacing the dirty filter. Moreover, when contacting the manager, was told the readings suggested the furnace not running to spec due to age; parts were no longer available.
When asked to provide quote for replacement, was told they'd return to take measurements and while there, replace the filter a week later and for a fee. Rather than to work things out, they merely issued a credit. The offers on the condo are in limbo, making it impossible to accept until this is resolved. Their only solution at that point was to refer us to another contractor, leaving the work undone. Tried to contact the inspector but no name was listed on the report. When asked to contact the manager, I was told that she, Tami, was the manager! Not the same experience as in the past. Wow.

I called this company to request both a regular maintenance visit and to get an extinguished pilot flame working again. On the day of the visit, Penny (owner?) told me this would take 2 visits because they did not know which model the equipment was. When I offered to provide the information, I was told she did not like my attitude and did not need me for a new customer. From there, the conversation went south rapidly and the visit was canceled. I don't plan to go back to them.

The address and contact information for this company is old. Go to their new website: http://pps-heating.com/. If you see my other reviews, you'll note that I was having furnace troubles last year. Well, this year the furnace finally gave up the ghost. Once again, it was during a cold snap. Everybody is booked solid around the city, but by good fortune somebody is building a house next to me and the heating and a/c system was getting installed this week by none other than PP&S.
They seem to be flying under the radar of yelp, I'm guessing because they tend to work with developers and have enough word of mouth business that they're already stuffed. Brian, the specialist who was working on site came over and had a look and got things going again, but it needed replacement badly. He wasn't sure PP&S had the schedule to take me on, but said I should try. Brian tried to refuse a gratuity, which he well deserved (it was cold and my furnace is in a crawlspace that isn't the easiest to access). Moving onto my communication with PP&S, I spoke with Bill who takes care of sales and he was just awesome when I explained my no-heat situation. Came out right away, suggested an ideal furnace replacement, and 48 hours later, I have a quiet furnace and a warm home. I'm happy to recommend this company. 6 stars and thank you guys!
