To encourage regular maintenance, Southern Oregon Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. offers our customers our Energy Savings Maintenance Agreement - our plan for regularly scheduled precision tune-ups and maintenance to keep your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system running at peak efficiency for lowest possible cost.
In the unlikely event there is a defect or flaw in our workmanship during the first ten (10) years after we install your comfort system, SOHAC will repair or replace the affected part of that system and/or installation. This guarantee is conditional upon you currently owning an ESA (Efficiency & Safety Inspection Agreement) and this service has been provided ONLY by Southern Oregon Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. All material is warranted to be as specified. All work is to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices.

I'm writing to share my recommendation for Southern Oregon Heating & Air Conditioning. I recently contracted with them to perform maintenance on my furnace and air conditioning unit. Shane was our serviceman. He was awesome! He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, respectful and worked efficiently. He patiently explained many things to my guy as he stood by watching and trying to learn as much as possible on what the current status of everything was and what we need to do to keep everything in optimal condition. I believe the price was fair for this service, and I will definitely call them again for furnace or air conditioning issues in the future (as well as maintenance)!

Just recently had an AC installed by Southern Oregon Heating and Air Conditioning here in E. Medford, and I could not be happier! After our old heat pump went down a few months ago, I called several local businesses and got the run around about time frame and cost of getting a replacement AC. When Southern Oregon Heating and Air Conditioning came by for the estimate, they were the only straight shooting company about time frame with an excellent price.
The job was completed in a timely fashion and their technician was knowledgeable and respectful and did quality work. I will absolutely be a returning customer! Highly recommended!

From the first time Warren came out to check my unit, this company showed such professionalism and compassion. I purchased a new home in 2015 because I do not have money for costly repairs and one week after the warranty was up the compressor on my unit went out. Now two years later it happened again. So. Oregon Heating & Air was the second company I called to come check the newest problem, the first person was so rude and arrogant. Warren was incredibly kind and really explained the issues.
Through supply chain issues, my contracting Covid and my unforgiving work schedule we finally had my new unit installed this week, in the April snow. Dakota, Ross and Tyler were the best! They explained things to me that I didn't know. They were so kind despite being cold, wet, having to haul things upstairs and listening to our dogs whine. Not only did they do a superior job, they were less expensive than the other place with horrible customer service. From the front office to the field service workers Southern Oregon Heating and Air is a quality company and I absolutely recommend them.

I initially called with a concern about my unit and was given great info over the phone to address my concerns. Then I scheduled a maintenance which was due, and Shane came a few days later. He was very professional, walked me through different options, answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable with the final decisions. The cost was manageable and reasonable. Great service!

I've used SOHAC several times over the past several years for repairs and today for maintenance. Each time, they have been prompt, professional, efficient, and fair. They have answered questions with clear detail and fair assessments, without overselling services or products. They've repaired our A/C in the heat of summer more than once. Today, Shane did an excellent job not only with annual maintenance, but also discussing and troubleshooting an issue with our furnace, explaining the likely problem and what to watch out for in the future. He was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I will definitely continue to use SOHAC in the future and would recommend them.

Super impressed with the professionalism and quick service. I was expecting to get a timeline of scheduling WEEKS out, but not only did Brandon come the same day I requested service, he called and asked if he could come hours earlier than expected. He discovered the problem quickly and got my heating working in under 30 minutes. Such a relief! I can't say enough good things about SOHAC. Wonderful business.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and work of Brandon, the technician that Southern Oregon sent out to repair our system. He looked at the entire system, tested it, and did the repairs. He also evaluated my system's refrigerant level at my request, and determined that I did not need any. My hybrid A/C-Heat pump-Furnace is operating better than it did when first installed. Good people. They know what they are doing. AND they are honest. I HIGHLY recommend them.

This business is definitely top notch. Even though I had to wait a bit due to Covid issues, the removal and installation of the new system went smoothly. The salesman did his job well - giving me all my options, answering my questions, explaining so that there were no surprises. I did have another quote from another company that was twice as much and more than a little shady. These guys are the best! Professional, cleaned up after, explained to me the new system, made sure everything worked before they left. I'm so glad I found them.

Signed up for their annual maintenance program a few years after they installed a replacement heat pump. They did a great install and I wanted to keep the system in good shape. Their Tech (Shane) was running late but they called in advance to let me know. He was very polite and went about checking everything quickly and efficiently. Good to know it's all working well. One less thing to worry about!

Our AC quit Monday evening, Tuesday AM I called and they said they could have a technician here at 3:30 Wednesday. Gabe arrived a half hour early. H e quickly determined that the problem wasn't in the outdoor unit but up in the attic, it was probably 120 degrees up there. He quickly diagnosed it as being the capacitor for the blower motor. AC is now working well, our home is cooling off rapidly. Gabe, with 30+ years of experience, was easy to work with and was quick to offer tips on how to keep our system operating at full efficiency.

Wow! This heating and air conditioning company has it all; price, service, flexible appointments, timeliness and professionalism of their service crew, and their office staff are a pleasure to talk with. The tech was scheduled for an afternoon appointment, but he had a cancellation and called to ask if he could come early; I said yes and he was at my house 5 minutes later.
We had purchased a "Nest" smart thermostat for him to install, but the tech determined it would not work with our system. However, he had a Honeywell digital, wifi, smart thermostat on his truck that would work with our system. The cost was the same as the Nest and the tech installed the new Honeywell smart thermostat. We are SO HAPPY with the new smart thermostat because we can pre-set our heat/air or we can adjust it from our phones, and the best part is that our heat pump is not cycling or running as much as it did before the new smart thermostat which will save electricity and reduce heating/cooling bills.
We ordered a case of system filters for our system and an employee deliver them over to us the same afternoon. Thank you Southern Oregon Heating & Air - we really appreciate your technicians and staff, the excellent service, and ongoing maintenance of our heat pump.

Replacing one's heating and air-conditioning unit is never a pleasant or inexpensive event, but these guys made it as painless as possible. Installed both units in less than a day and their technicians were polite, professional, and competent. And the price was reasonable. Not much more I could ask for, but I'm still hoping not to need them again for 20 years.

(-1 Star Rating, Avoid Southern Oregon Heating & Air) We contacted Southern Oregon Heating & Air in Winter / November 2019, looking to install equipment from our warehouse. You would assume that a fair price for a good service delivered is what a professional HVAC company does? Not so at SOHAC. They flat out refused to quote or provide service, unless you purchase THEIR expensive equipment with THEIR additional markup. Result: Our tenant was uncomfortable longer while we took our business to a respectable HVAC company in the Ashland area. Ashland Property Managers: Avoid Southern Oregon Heating & Air! I called Southern Oregon Heating to clean up the mess left by Lam Air. They resolved the issues in a timely and professional manner. Warren explained exactly what the problems were and even followed up a couple of days later to make sure everything was functioning properly. All of our Heating/AC business will go to Southern Oregon Heating in the future.

Mark arrived a few days after my call for an estimate, diagnosed the problem and offered a lower cost repair for a problem than another company who had proposed a much more expensive "fix." After explaining details and inspecting the gas furnace, he told us how to fix the leaky duct ourselves. He would not charge for his service call. Mark's advice was greatly appreciated and saved us a lot of money! He really took care of the customer the right way.
