Qualification includes site shading and orientation; remaining life of roof; travel time to the site; and attic construction and condition. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free quotes to Springfield Utility Board customers at this time. Qualification for a free quote is at our discretion. If your site does not qualify, we may be able to offer you a free phone consultation and you may have the option to pay for a site assessment. Site assessments typically run from $100-200, depending upon distance and/or complexity.

When we bought our house it had 15 year old solar panels on the roof and double hot water tanks in the basement that had been installed by Solar Assist. After 15 more years of our living here we decided to reroof and update the water heating system. although the solar panels still worked they were due to be changed and the technology had changed substantially.
We called Solar Assist to both remove the old panels and tanks and to help us decide on the best, most effective and efficient water heater for our family use. Brendan recommended a Heat pump water heater as our best option and helped us with everything from placement, Eweb rebate, new Electrical outlet installation, top quality heat pump water heater installation-including strapping, and inspection scheduling. It was so easy and pleasant working with him and we are very happy with the result. I have a lot of confidence in this smart and ethical company. 5 stars.
