We provide a wide range of services and products in refrigeration and cooling, heating, building automation, and maintenance, nationwide. Our clients are universities, restaurants, grocery stores, manufacturers, warehouses, homeowners, commercial buildings, and new construction. We design, fabricate, and install state-of-the-art systems.
For some projects of a limited duration or special need, it is an unnecessary expense for you to purchase refrigeration, cooling, and heating equipment. In these cases, rental or leasing of portable equipment makes the most sense, both logistically and economically. Our clients use portable equipment for special events (such as parties), construction sites, remodels, as well as for back-up systems for restaurants and grocery stores.
We substantially reduce the charges by your electrical company through load shedding, or staging of units on and off. This allows you to maintain continuous peak performance of all essential equipment, at any given time, while not paying for usage of nonessential equipment. Because of the strict necessity to maintain precise temperatures of refrigeration units at grocery stores and restaurants we regulate these units automatically. If a unit signals a problem, we are notified and respond immediately.

H F has always been responsive even though we live in Kentucky. They've fixed a problem with our geothermal unit that the other vendor couldn't fix for 5 years. They've been so good we had them replace a HVAC unit & air handler for our grandmother. Andy and the team have been great. Highly recommend them! Thanks for taking great care of our family over the past few years.

I agree with the previous review who said there should be a "no star option". My son purchased a brand new heat pump system in 2018. It quit every 2-3 months for the next year. This company had to be called back to fix a non-functioning unit 7-8 times over the next year, beginning almost immediately after installation. HF Refrigeration attempted to charge them for problems created by their equipment or their technicians.
Eventually in 2019, HF Refrigeration replaced the unit. Which brings us to today.two years, two new units, two new thermostats.and the second thermostat quit working this morning. I think it is time for this company to work on some "continuing education"! My 2yr old and 4 yr old grandsons do not need to ask their Mommy why their house is not warm in the winter. This company has created a trend that even a toddler has picked up on!

One star since you can't put no stars. I had them come out to my house to see why my furnace wasn't working and they told me I needed the heat exchanger replaced and that my furnace was under warranty, but my warranty only covers parts, not labor. They told me it should take two people all day to do it, so I'd be paying for a total of 16hrs. They also told me I'd have to pay upfront before repairs were made.
So I saved money and called back a week later and had them come out and do the job. They didn't ask for payment upfront when I called which seemed weird since they wouldn't even order the part with out money the last time I talked to them. Mind you this is dead of winter and freezing and I had no furnace. Because they requested that money upfront. Took two weeks before the part came in.
They didn't show up until 10, the one guy was only there for half an hr. The other one had to keep running into town to get the parts he forget. I totaled up the hrs they were there and it was 3 hrs total combined maybe 4 or 5 with drive time. Even after they replaced it my furnace still didn't work and they ended up having to replace a sensor. When they left I found the exhaust broke and ripped out of the wall and that they just left it there like that.
I called and complained and she said that they could come back out and fix it but I'd be charged for it. I said not to bother and asked for what my bill was. She said $889 I asked her what all was being billed to me an she couldn't answer. I asked them to mail me a brake down and all I got was a paper with a total on it, no explanation as to what I was getting billed for.
We ended up showing up at their office and found out they were trying to bill us for parts too. They dropped the price to 700 but the labor rate is 97/hr. It was more hrs then they were there. He said we had to pay for ALL their drive time even from the times he had to keep running back and forth because he forgot the parts! And he said the second guy was there for 3hrs and he wasn't even there for half an hr. I don't recommend these people for nothing. Don't use them!
