Like many others, we've been affected by this extremely hot summer and our A/C wasn't giving us its all. I requested a service appointment through The Good Guy's website and within 3 hours, they had responded to my inquiry and were on their way to our house to check on the issue. Shortly after arriving, the technician diagnosed the issue and repaired the unit.
The service was really above and beyond. I did not expect them to respond same-day, but they not only got back to me, but came AND fixed the issue within hours of my initial email. On top of that, the service was reasonably priced. Absolutely 10/10 - would recommend to anyone.

James was an excellent technician. He called in advance, arrived when he stated he would and was professional and friendly. Performed a furnace tune up and explained to me how often to change the filter and things to listen and watch for to keep our furnace in top shape. Service: Heating system maintenance

Had my furnace stop working yesterday. I like trying to solve problems on my own, so I spent a few hours digging around. Came to the conclusion that likely I needed and Ignitor. Found out that no where around me had any for sale, and shipping it'd be 2-3 days minimum to get one shipped. Messaged CW Good Guys late at night expecting an email or text in the morning.
I asked about the possibility of just buying an Ignitor if they had any in stock, fully expecting to just have them say "Hey, we need to come out and do a Service Call". To my surprise within a few minutes I got a response from Dan. He said they could check to see if they had one in stock, and they'd be happy to just sell me the part. He went further to help me diagnose things to make sure that I was only replacing something that needed to be replaced. Gave me a few options of things to check. Went and check in with another guy, Jeff, and confirmed via picture that my Ignitor was definitely bad.
They didn't have the part in stock, but were able to get one delivered to their shop within a couple hours. All while the weather was doing Winter in Wisconsin things. (Sleet, Hail, Bad Road) Can't recommend these guys enough. They went out of their way to save me a service call, at the expense of their bottom line.

Had an absolutely amazing experience today with this company. Had an emergency with my furnace (it's the weekend!) and Evan was so quick to come over and get everything fixed up. I was expecting to have to wait awhile, so I was pleasantly surprised! He was so kind, helpful, polite, and sweet. They went above and beyond to help me out. It is a wonderful business and I am happy to tell friends and family to use them for heating/cooling needs. Thanks, Good Guys!

When my furnace went out, they had a rep at my house in a few hours and install scheduled for the very next day. During the quote process they guaranteed I would love the furnace or they would take it back for a full refund. Not sure how many other HVAC companies can make that kind of guarantee. Have used The Good Guys twice for annual maintenance. They been very prompt for both appointments. They are transparent about their pricing, layout all of your options, and provide benefits and draw backs of both. I have an older forced air system (~90s) but it has never been an issue for them. For non emergencies service you will need to schedule 3-4 weeks ahead of time. Their online scheduling is great! Super easy to use and you know what you will be paying ahead of time. I plan to continue to use them for my HVAC needs.

The worker was negative and abrupt the minute he walked through the front door. We reviewed the project details and I went into another room just to be out of his space. The project that was reviewed and quoted could not be done as earlier projected. We discussed another option and all he did was drone on about the project. I tried to get a price so I could make an educated decision and stopped him twice as he lamented about other things.
I just wanted a price. He gave me a very vague guesstimate. At that point, I knew I did not want this guy working in my house on my project. Weird, awkward and frustrating. Yikes! I see your rebuttal. I understand your are desperate to protect your image. Where is the apology? That's what good companies do. They apologize for bad behavior and experiences.
You make excuses, change the narrative and put it on the customer to make it better. Why would I or anyone else re-engage with a company when it went so badly the first time? I understand you don't like my negative review. However, it was fair and that's what this forum is for-accountability. I do hope you can learn. I hope you can tell the public you are learning. I'm done

Eric was amazing! He showed up and got to work on our tune-ups. He was courteous, professional, and a delight to be around. He offered explanations of our equipment and advised on future maintenance. He was a delight to have in our home and I'm glad we had the opportunity to work with him. Keep up the positive personality, Eric! You're amazing!

Had my Furnace go out and they were able to replace the 20+ year old unit in less than a day. They were fast and professional and I love the new unit. They offered space heaters to use while the heat was out. I had my own but the offer was much appreciated. I can't say enough good things about this company.

Had a new furnace and central air put in our old house. Converted from Oil to gas and added central air. They were great! Took out all the old oil pipes and oil tank from our furnace! This was in 2017 so they just did a tune up on our furnace. Everything went great! Very professional and on time. Never felt pressured to get more than we wanted or needed.

When I first called, I spoke with Dan. Dan was very pleasant to talk to and very professional. Andy made the repairs on my duplex and did it in a short amount of time. He called me before he left the property and explained what the issue was and what he did to make the repairs. The total cost was lower than I had expected. Very pleased with this company. Thank you!

This is my review I posted through a Google search. I edited it as I had a tech out today for my water heater. Tammy Mossholder in the last week-Edit I thought I had a thermostat take a dump on me so, I called the wonderful people who installed my furnace/Central air at Christensen and Wisnet. I was told it would probably be after 10:30 but, . about 9:30, I got the call from the Eric the tech that he was on his way. Early? Bonus!
Even though I just got out of bed from a long night if writing final research papers. I showed Eric my thermostats, and then the furnace and he concluded too that it was the thermostat was the problem. Before he continued, he said he was a believer in giving.
