The Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) is an energy efficiency rating for air conditioners. The higher the SEER, the better the energy performance, the more you save. Annualized Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) is a measure of your furnace's heating efficiency. The higher the AFUE percentage, the more efficient the furnace.

Buyer beware. I had a Lennox system put in my new construction home in 2007 & by 2014 it was broke. We had a defective unit which prudential did replace for the cost of Labor. Fast forward to last month when the unit they replaced it with in 2014 went out on me. $7500 later my HVAC is replaced but with a different manufacturer & not Prudential.

As always, great service, prompt and informative. Well worth the yearly maintenance contract. The furnace system continues to work extremely well and offers great comfort, with excellent even air flow. I've never had any problems over the last 15 years of working with Prudential for my house heating and air, and they did great troubleshooting for me in the initial installation of my systems.

Our technician was Antonio. He has been out to our house before and he is great. He is thoughtful and professional and always explains the work he does and the results. He even fixed a minor condensate drain problem I had while there. My experiences with Prudential and their techs have always been very good. Service: HVAC system maintenance

The motor on my HVAC system recently stopped working, and after reading great reviews about Prudential, I decided to go with them, assuming I'd get excellent service and be charged fairly. Knowing that I just needed to get the system fixed so we'd have heat, I went through with having the unit fixed, even though the price seemed extremely high. Later that day, I spoke with my dad who manages a company in Indiana and personally works on HVAC systems.
When he asked me what I payed for Prudential, and I told him it was over $700, he was astounded. He then took a close look at my bill, the prices of the exact parts and the labor, he personally spoke with the company that the parts are ordered from, and I was charged hundreds of dollars more than what's typical for this type of service. I will not be using Prudential again, and strongly encourage everyone to call around and get quotes from several business before settling on Prudential.
Also the technician wasn't personable in the slightest. I deeply regret rushing this process in order to simply get heat, and I strongly feel that this company took advantage of my desperate situation.

I have lived in my home for over 13 years. The previous homeowner used Prudential to install and service their air conditioning unit. I am so glad that I continued to use them. The office personnel were very accommodating in letting me know of an appointment that came available at a much earlier date for HVAC maintenance. The technician was very efficient and knowledgeable and explained the condition of my furnace without pressure for replacement. (Furnace is quite old). Work was done quickly and clean-up taken care of. Very pleased.
