He told me after he was here for awhile that he would not be able to run all the checks on AC cause of weather. I said why would they schedule for you to come if your not able to do your job he replied I have NO idea. So they took 90 DID NOT TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG AND LEFT ME NO WORK ORDER! I am stopping payment and also reporting these crooks!

I am only giving them 2 stars because we had an emergency and had to call at 8:30 pm on Sunday due to our furnace not kicking on and I have a handicap mother that lives with me and can't not have heat. The gentlemen that came that night was nice however just said it should be okay for now, needed a good cleaning and we paid a pretty high price for the visit due to after hours which is understood.
But that was not the issue, the customer service woman called the next day after we had to call again to state the furnace is still not working the women on the phone was really did not want to believe what I said and noted she would call my husband and or have the gentlemen that came that prior night call and NO ONE CALLED which is why I gave 2 stars poor customer service and also the women was trying to tell me a conversation took place that did not that evening.
In any event we called another Heating company and getting our finance fixed and they are on the ball with great customer service and fix guarantee comes with the service as well! This was just not a good response to not call the customer back.

Copying this sage from my Google review : I scheduled a yearly check up for my boiler (that was working) and was told it needed a part, and now my boiler was no longer going to work until they fixed whatever was found. I was told I'd hear back in 2-3 days because the office handles parts and scheduling he couldn't give me an estimate, but that it. shouldn't be that much.
After 4 days of no heat or call, I called and was told parts was busy & I'd get a call back. I never got a call back, took me 4-5 rounds of phone tag to finally get the someone on the phone and tell me it would be $800, which seemed wildly higher than I expected. I asked if I could have an invoice with the price breakdown.

Metro was great. John quickly identified the issue with our furnace and fixed it. Luckily it was minor. He even took the time to explain what was wrong and show me how to fix it myself if it happens again. They might miss out on one small job with that, but they will get every other call. No reason to look to anyone else.

A serviceman from Metro recently came to my 90 year old mother's house as they have done twice a year for 20+ years to check her system and told her that her air conditioning needed replaced and that it would cost $10,000.00! I have had a new Trane furnace and air conditioner replaced in a house twice the size of her's for a hell of a lot less! Metro must be like so many other companies in this field that pray on the elderly to take advantage of them!
That is sad. Oh! and for the record, I had the company that I use, do a service call to her house and was told that the units were in great condition and there was no reason at all to believe they would need replaced any time soon. Obviously we will never again use Metro Heating and Cooling.

We have used Metro Heating and Cooling through their annual service agreement for over 10 years with exemplary service. We had our furnace fan fail during the coldest days of the year so far. We wanted to replace our 19 year old furnace and called Metro. They sent Josh, a sales representative, the same day to discuss our options. After we decided on a Carrier unit, Mitchel, the scheduler, and Josh worked to get our unit scheduled for installation ASAP.
We had the unit installed after only 2 days. Brandon, the technician, and Josh completed the installation and explained the instructions for both the thermostat and the furnace. This company is very customer orientated. We highly recommend Metro Heating and Cooling for your repair and installation needs.

After realizing our AC wasn't working about 11am, we called Metro. The technician arrived around 1pm diagnosed the problem and put in the new part. Jeff the tech was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. We've used Metro before and continue to be pleased with their service. We definitely recommend them.

We've used Metro for multiple jobs, covering both heating and AC and we've always been very happy with their work. Recently we had a new ductless AC system installed (it's amazing) and every part of our experience with Metro was excellent -- from working with Brady to select the system and get an estimate, to the installation with Jack and Taylor. Metro is great at communication, responsiveness, and professionalism along with their industry expertise.
And you don't pay a premium for this excellence; their pricing is very fair. We also really appreciated their social distancing and safety practices in this challenging time. Thanks, Metro.

Metro installed a replacement air conditioner for our landlord last week. They were extremely professional beginning with their sales rep that came to our home to provide an assessment. The scheduler actually moved the install ahead by 5 days. The installers were very efficient and cleaned up everything. There was nothing left behind and the install was nicely done. We thank them.

We would have been a new customer. The home we purchased had their sticker on the boiler furnace, so I scheduled a furnace check up for $104. The technician arrived on time and was nice, but he was here 37 minutes and basically swept some crumbs out of my boiler. He didn't check the thermostat or how the furnace was heating each room. He only adjusted one of the upstairs radiators, saying it governed the rest.
He told me I needed a new expansion tank, which I figured, and I'd scheduled to have them come out in a couple weeks. but he also did not see the severity of the condition of the expansion tank, which is why I had called them in the first place. Within a week of the check up the expansion tank had water pouring out of it and I was down there at 4 am bailing out a bucket.
I called twice and Mitch did not return my call. I had to call another firm who came out immediately and replaced the expansion tank (which was completely rusted through) and they told me my upstairs radiators were air locked. After the other firm was here our furnace worked great and it was warm. I don't know how Metro's actual work is, but based on this experience I would not hire them. I wasted $104.

Metro Heating and Cooling gives five star service. I highly recommend them. Recently, in 90 degree heat, our air conditioner stopped working properly. Metro Heating and Cooling was very responsive in sending someone to our home. It was once again working, as the technician determined that a technician from another company disconnected our control. panel, telling me I needed a new one.
A few hours later, on a Friday night, our compressor kept shutting off and the temperature started to rise. I called the emergency phone number and a message was delivered to the on call technician. He called me within minutes and drove in pouring rain to my home to fix my a/c. And, was successful! Will definitely use them for all our hvac needs and recommend them to everyone we know.
