We had two boilers down at our HOA community at the beginning of shelter in place, San Jose Boiler went above and beyond in getting all 124 residence hot water at no time, as you can see in the photos they do an amazing work. My boiler was leaking water on Monday. I called San Jose Boiler to see if I can repair the boiler. The lady quote me that there is a minimum two hour charge with $ 169 an hour. I am Ok with the two hour charge. The technician arrived at 9:30 am. He unscrew the panel and said the Boiler is not worth fixing it. It take him about 10 minute. I told the technician I need the water stop from leaking and cap the 2 line.
He said he do not have the tools, so he went back to his shop and pick up the tools. He do not came back for more than an hour. He put in 2 valve, 2 copper coupling, 3 copper pipe. He finished the job at about 12:10 pm. I was with the technician all the time and see him work until the job was done. One of the copper pipe the technician cut do not fit.
It was support to be two copper pipe, but the lady charge me three copper pipe. The whole job take about take about two hour. The lady charge me 3.5 hour so I call her about the charge. After the job was done, the technician call the lady and told her to add up all the bill. I heard the technician said 3 hour, 2 valve, 2 copper pipe, 2 copper coupling. The problem is that she over charge me. She is a very unreasonable person.
