Rob Horton, founder of Baptist Heating & Air Inc., is the grandson of Myron Horton & Robert Wiggington. The former started Horton's Welding Service on the southside of Indianapolis, and the latter was a Great Union Ironworker. Both men were geniuses in their own right. Both were also perfectionists, mechanics, carpenters, concrete workers, gardeners, lawyers, and appliance repairmen. These two men could fix about anything! And even though they had some different philosophies, one was a staunch Republican, and the other a staunch Democrat.

Less Popular Local Equipment Brands we can supply those also, which would include Bryant, Carrier, Trane, Rheem, Ducane, Goodman, Lennox, York, Amana and Heil.
Installations, also called Replacements are our specialty. You should consider a replacement installation, when an outdoor or indoor unit needs severe repairs, or is non-repairable. Whether it be an Air Conditioner, Heat Pump, Furnace, Air Handler, or Geo System, we have you covered. The brand we use most often when doing replacements is American Standard.
New Construction projects give home owners opportunities to really get value from their Heating & Air Conditioning dollars. Unfortunately, most of the time, when a house is built the home owners trust their builder for HVAC Contractor selection. I called this company after waiting on another company for over 3 weeks now to repair my air conditioner. I called Baptist today and they came same day, repaired my air conditioner, and had the parts with them! They even told me I did not need one of the parts the other company told me I needed. A lady in the office named Tammy was really helpful and nice also! Highly recommend this company!

From the first phone call, I was impressed. Customer service was impeccable. The lady on the other end of the phone (I believe was the owner's wife). Nevertheless, she was very professional. She made me feel at ease from the very beginning. She gave me his availability from the beginning. I believe Rob came out within the next day or two. Within the next week I had a new system up and running.
I am very pleased. I will tell anyone who asks and even if they don't. Rob is a Christian man and he is very fair in my opinion. He was prompt and he kept his word. He's also very friendly and he gave me some good advice on a few other topics. If you need heating and cooling look no further Baptist is who you need to call. When I saw the company name, of course I was drawn.
Then I read the reviews and I was sold even before calling. I never made another call even for a comparison estimate. I will say it again. Rob at Baptist is the guy for all of your HVAC needs.

Rob is such an honest, caring, and fair guy! He tells you the truth and exactly what you need without overselling you! I recommend him to everyone that I know in need of heating/air services! When we first found Rob (via referral), it was because we were told we needed a whole new AC unit. Rob came out and we needed a $200 part and that included labor! And guess what it's still working and that was about 6 years ago, I believe.

Rob was our technician and he was phenomenal! He was so helpful and explained how our heating system worked. He also was helpful in detailing how older homes (like ours) would lay things out with HVAC systems and how it could be more energy efficient. He also uncovered a huge mystery that we hadn't figured out in 8 years of living here! If all the Baptist Heating guys are like Rob, you can't go wrong! Thanks again Baptist Heating & Air!

I have used Baptist HVAC for years. Most recently they installed a HALO air purification system. They have always made cost effective recommendations and their work has been very professional. They have worked on a multi system in a home built in 1905 and a single split system in my current home built in 2017. They significantly improved both systems. I highly recommend them

I've used Baptist Heating and Air three times. I've always been very happy with their service. Before, when other companies have come to my home, I always felt that they were sizing me up.trying to see how much money they could get from me. Baptist Heating and Air has always been honest and trustworthy. They never try to push. As a senior citizen, I'm thankful that I feel I can trust them to do an honest job for an honest wage. I will continue to ask for their help in the future.

Rob came out and installed the I Wave air purifier. I did research on the I Wave and called Baptist Heating and Cooling. Baptist did some work at our prior home and I was impressed. Same with this call. The installation went smooth and I paid what was quoted. I will use Rob, and Baptist year round for my maintenance program. Also, while Rob was here he gave me some great pointers on efficiency. I would definitely recommend Baptist Heating and Air.
